Meanwhile, Matt Flynn - who recently got tossed out like a week-old bag of rotten meat by the Oakland Raiders - just signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills, as noted by the team on Twitter: Tebow hasn't sniffed a job offer from an NFL team since he was released by the New England Patriots on August 31. There are certainly a few quarterback-sorry ... (more)

I agree Brees deserves his money, and NO isn't a very good team overall any longer, but some other points here are way off base.

Most players do NOT in fact, have criminal records. If that was true, i am sure Gooddell would find a way to make it so they couldn't play. Im sure it would be an interesting statistic to read about, whether wealth, race and job types across different industries have higher crime rates in general than others. Like what is the percentage of each race that commits a crime that makes over 500 K a year? I bet you its 100 X smaller than those who don't make much money, regardless of race.

But this is all besides the point. Tebow doesn't play in the NFL because he is a shitty football player. Yes, thats right, the only thing in his life other than god is what he sucks at. I don't know why it took everybody 3 years of college and 3 of pro's to figure that out, but yeah, he isn't good.

<quoted text>Drew Brees who has had a recent SB win and 3 straight 5000 yard + seasons, is getting it from some OF HIS OWN fans. Brees is a born-again Christian, recently spoke at Liberty U. here in VA, school of the late Jerry Falwell, and has become outspoken over the past 2 years. Now he is getting blamed for his salry and present players getting cut.
The NFL is a culture of ghetto. Most players have criminal records and pending felonies. New Orleans is the LGBT capital of the South. Keep an eye on this...Tebow is a backup but is not on a team for this reason. UF would have called him out if he played like the present 4-7 UF Team...then again, aside from the SB, ratings are low as NBC gave it to CBS

I hear they are putting an NFL franchise in Salt Lake City called the Utah Missionaries
Tebow would be a natural QB there
He could teach the male cheerleaders first hand how to stack-plank naked

Never mind his receiver was wide open in the flat
You are only partially correct. Like Tebow as a person and all around good guy and locker room presence. Can't say I like him as a QB prospect given his footwork, release and ability to read defenses. If Tebow wants another shot, he will have to find a QB guru like Norv Turner to improve his game. Frankly, I don't see it happening. Clear?

I agree with Janitor, Tebow is an all around good guy and locker room presence.

He would be great just to sign on a roster and hand out towels in the team showers and comment on each sausage that walks by. Maybe even Tebow in their end zones.

No doubt you are angry with your economic environment and position in life. No need to misdirect or take it out on everyone you meet or read about. It only shows how petty you are. Seems there is a lot of that coming out of Miami. Hope it not related to the Heats losing streak. Getting too tied up with a sports team is not healthy. Still hoping you will one day give us something worth reading, but I won't hold my breath. Your best weapon would be to put forth a rational comment about an ongoing NFL situation that shows thought. Again, won't hold my breath.
PS don't know Tebow but do know other pro athletes (and a few actors) and have relatives that have been associated with NFL Teams. Get an education it will improve your thinking and response ability.

Is that your diagnosis, Dr Fraud? That's as authenticate as your personal knowledge of Tebow. The only actor you personally know is yourself.

God loves everyone. It's just that he has to act on the laws of sin and faith. Let's be honest. It you who hates and as usual you pass the responsibility off to another. Once you learn how to deal with people, better learn the language and how to respond, you just might figure a few things out. If you had a relationship with God you might think better of Him. Until then, we will just have to continue to put up with you. It's not all that difficult to do for anyone who has had kids. Here's hoping you grow up sooner than later. And now back to football....Pats would have done well to have added Sproles or Nicks but those ships have sailed. Looking forward to seeing what Belichick comes up with next. Cudos on his last few moves of Shoring up the back end of the defense and keeping Brady's prime chain mover. Still need a NT, DE and a Center to go along with some depth and one more target for Brady. Can't wait to see if Belichick has gotten the bizarre out of his draft picking as in recent years. It may well be the difference .

What does tebow's inability to play quarterback have to do with God?

Do we really need all of this drama over somebody who was great in college not having what it takes to make it in the pros? It has happened many times before where a college star has bombed out in the Pros and is likely to happen again many times. All this nonsense is getting stale.

Absolutely. Couldn't agree more. Great college player but pro teams unwilling to risk him as their QB.

That may be true because Elway didn't like what was going on. It's very possible he just decided to look for a better QB so he could say he upgraded, which of course he did. Fact remains, Tebow is a risk all the teams have decided is too big a risk to take. They see a limited upside even if he is better than QBs on their roster who where once hopefuls and turned out duds.

I don't understand what direction you are trying to go in. You LIKE Tebow? Trent Dilfer won some games too, namely a super bowl, that didn't make him a good QB.

Well, by Tebow's logic, if God made him and everything, and little Timmy only was happy playing football, and yet he just wasn't good enough to really make it professionally, God is the reason Tim Tebow hates himself.
