Full story: Akron Beacon Journal

BEREA: Last year, the Pittsburgh Steelers got a whiff of what Joshua Cribbs could do on kickoff returns when he ran one back 92 yards for a score.

I would love to see Cribbs throw a pass - but only as a well-rehersed play, not as an act of desperation. Maybe somehwere in the 3rd or 4th week. Better yet, just imagine him on a QB keeper!

RAC... is in his 3rd year and is just now thinking Cribbs should play...He even admitted he should have played more in the pre-season...BUT CRUBBS DIDN'T play more.
Travis Wilson wasted away on the bench last year...UNDER RAC...
God only knows when he will decide to play our BEST QUATERBACK
Jerome Harrison Sits and waits and Yet he remains #3 behind Wright...Why?
RAC plays favorites...Carthon, the so called Offensive Coordinator, was a huge and horrible example...I am sure there are many other examples..
Coaching is one of the keys to building a team...CHUD is a good start..The day they get rid of RAC and bring in a real Head coach will be the next major move to respectability for the Browns.
Some of you are thinking ...Yes but...We have Lewis now and a quality Offensive line building, and Defensive backs that look pretty good and some quality Linebackers...Yes we do have some Very Good players...but it is Phil Savage that we have to thank for that...Now we need someone who knows how to use our talent properly.

I'll be willing to bet a substantial sum that there is one or two plays, like a reverse. that has him doing just that. I saw him throw at KSU and he has a great arm!

Cribbs is just an excellent athlete overall. I love watching that kid play.

As for Big Mike's comments.....

Crennel has never made it a secret that he favors veterans. My only hope is that we can KEEP some of the younger talent on this team when their contracts come around. It is damn hard to keep teams together in the league and keep the talent levels high. Still drives me nuts that one of the best at evaluating talent and managing his rosters..... former Browns player Ozzie Newsome.... continues to work for Baltimore. I understand his reasons for keeping the job.... but man.... that was one twist of fate that still continues to be like salt in the wound that I call the Ravens.

Line him up as a WR too. They should use him on option plays very much like how the Steelers used Randle El. A WR doubling as a QB can be tricky. Washington has Randle El now and they do the same thing there. I wish the Browns would have the balls to do something like that. It might make the season a bit more exciting.

Josh Cribbs really shows how hard work and perseverance can pay off. From being a quarterback,(and a very good one) to being one of the most feared return men in the NFL really says great things about Josh. He is definitely my favorite Brown is I am also from the Golden flashes football team. I wish him all the luck in the world and especially against the Steelers this week. Go Josh-go Browns!

You are right RAC has always said he favors Vets...BUT...It is the Browns Vets (many very good ball players) Who have been losing ever since RAC got here and Before...

To make matters worse he stretched that to include his friend CARTHON...The absolute worse Offensive Coordinator in the history of the NFL, The NCAA and Highschools of all sizes everywhere.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Pisces

If you-know-who has been getting on your nerves recently, matters will soon come to a head and force you to take drastic action. As Mars turns tail in your sixth house, you might finally lose your rag with someone at work who's been testing your patience to the limit. Stand your ground if you feel you're being messed about in some way. Clear the air if needs be, but don't create a really nasty atmosphere by throwing an eye-popping tantrum. Take care of any infections.
