What ever they choose to do, will, as usual, probably blow up in their face. Same old JETS!

Hopefully, the Jets won't overpay for Brady Quinn. The guy was a late first round pick and has not shown anything at the NFL level. At best, he warrants a second round pick, no more!

I will take Brady Quinn and give up 2nd round pick this year and with the 17th pick draft Brandon Pettigrew. There you get a TE that blocks on the OL. Can catch(receiver) and at 6.6/250lb that spells YAC. I trust our receivers and there's nothing better than to have two TE offense w/good RB's. I can see 10 wins or more and making the playoff for the next six straight years. (Dreams can come true)

Why all this talk about Brady Queen?
What the hell has he done? Nothing. Why do you think he dropped like a rock in the last draft? He is no better than KC. I say if the Jets think Sanchez is so great they go get him at any cost and through him right in the mix just like the Ravens did with Flaco. If they think the price is too high for Sanchez than they should trade down, throw in Thomas Jones in a package for a receiver, like Boldin or whoever. Give the QBs you have a chance and if they blow than we will be in the same postion next year and we can get a QB.

Another thing. All Jet fans stop saying I wish Chad was back. Teah, he is ok but if you get into the playoffs a good defense will always destroy him. Lets not forget HE HAS NO ARM.

agree on Pettigrew if WR worth #17 is not their. The same writers that say the Jets MUST get Sanchez are the samethat said they MUST get Lienart. The same Lienart that can't beat out Warner after 3 years. Can't trust the value of those USC QB's that play surrounded with NFL caliber talent.

I don't want Quinn, Sanchez or especially Campbell. I think the Jets will be good enough with Clemens to be a playoff team as long as the running game is strong as well as the defense. Enough projects and re-treads. Go with what you know. I would like to see Knowshon Moreno in Green & White. Bey drops too many and Harvin has smoked himself out of the first round.

Agreed, TnJetsFan. I would take Moreno at 17 if Maclin doesn't fall to our laps. Trade up in the second round for Brit/Nicks (or stay put for another big WR). NY media sure do hype the drama. Campbell. Give me a break!

Trading up for a WR is a mistake. Taking a TE 2 years in a row in the 1st round? No thanks. Take a WR if he's worth the pick and/or a DL. Get a rotation going with the D Line!

Go for a RB or WR and give Clemens his shot. Stay away from AA quarterbacks, they don't win.

That would be wonderful. Keller could actually play in the slot and give the Jets the BIG WR they crave. There is one problem however. Pettigrew in all likelihood won't be available at #17. I'd prefer keeping our picks, drafting the enormously promising Josh Freeman and getting value at both RB and WR in rounds 2 and 3. Both positions are considerably plentiful in this years draft. After Maclin and Crabtree(Forget Harvin and his lack of self control)there isn't much difference in talent amongst 7-10 Receivers. If Shonn Greene cannot be had in round two,Rashad Jennings or Andre Brown shouldn't be considered boobie prizes. Freeman could actually be the best of the QB lot after all is said and done. At 6'6" 248,very athletic, able to throw thru a wall and quite intelligent,he didn't have the benefit of having the weapons Sanchez and the other kid had at their disposal. I'd take my chances on him not only being a huge upgrade to Clemens and Ratliff(Who I like),but quite possibly becoming a franchise QB!

Seems to me Cinci's Kenny Anderson and the great Kurt Warner from Northern Iowa did alright for themselves. Your blanket statement regarding small school QB'S,not able to win is not only inaccurate, but ridiculous. Oh,yeah,Joe Flacco from that football hotbed,Delaware is another dud. Don't you think so? Please!

Shall we bow down to you, sir? Or should we tell you to shove one of your pies where the sun don't shine. Losers? Freaks? What a condescending pile of crap! If this venue and forum is so irrelevant in your life, what the heck are you doing here. Did you ever give that any thought,Schmendrik?????

Hey Lucky, Pieman can't spell ("you're", not "your")either! Back to business...
Drafting any player is a true crapshoot, QB,RB,DL, WR... the truth is, drafting is an art, not a science. How many "top ten" picks make good? Clearly, not as many as "not top ten"! So, do you pick for need or 'best player available'? I look for Gang Green to make a statement, move up 9 or10 picks and go for the player they truly want-Mr. Mark Sanchez! This is how you start a new era w/a new coach! You provide your fans with a reason to pay those out of this world prices at that brand new stadium (that doesn't bear the name of our team, btw!) What fun!

If the Browns draft Sanchez at the 5th position and are willing to trade Quinn on the cheap is that something the Jets should consider? Its one thing for the Browns to have an asking price, but if the draft Sanchez then either Quinn or Anderson is going to be dealt on the cheap or outright released. The Browns can't afford to pay three QB's, top QB type money.
