It's pretty apparent that as long as the officials have it out for us, the penalty issue won't go away. I don't know what to think about the QB issue, but I might rather cut Palmer if possible and retain Campbell but on the business side of things, we gave too much for Palmer.

I never expect much from a first year coach especially at 8-8. When we were suffering double digit losing seasons, I was hoping to get better, but we never got out of that until Al Davis actually kept Tom Cable around long enough to rid the Raiders of losing mentality.

I do expect some changes. Michael Bush is our highest profile free agent and Jason Campbell is one of the best available QBs. Tyvonn Branch may or may not return and if he doesn't then that will yield a full time starting job at SS to Mike Mitchell. Trevor Scott may or may not return; he's disappeared pretty much since his injury last year and I say that because he wasn't much of a factor this year. Samson Satelle I'd rather see go and move Stefan Wisniewski over to center.

Pretty much what I expect this year is

1. Terrelle Pryor to be worked into the offense more
2. As somebody in another thread already said, The "Al Davis Scholarship Program" to go away.
3. Either Bush or McFadden to go, as much as I hate to see it happen, but I'm sure Reggie McKenzie is looking to at least recover a first round pick and no other player on the team will bring us that kind of value...Personally I don't think Palmer was worth the price we paid for him. If it were up to me it would've gone like this...If we made the playoffs, then we give a 2013 first & second round pick, but if we don't then just a 2013 first round pick.

I hope to see
1. A record of 9-7 or better
2. some quality FAs brought in to make up lack of draft picks
3. A coaching/managing staff that won't play favorites

He's going to incorporate the Bill Bellicheat system of filming walkthroughs, stealing signals and "evesdropping" on the opponent defensive calls from the sidelines
