Packers' Finley fires back at NFL for fine
Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley went public Friday with his frustration over the $15,750 fine he received for what the NFL determined was an illegal crackback block in last weekend's win over the Baltimore Ravens.

So you think it goes to the "NFL didn't a give a shit about player safety Charity Fund"? I even heard Troy Aikman commenting on how there don't seem to be any FEWER concussions since the NFL implemented some safety protocols for head trauma. I can't believe that even some players don't get it. There will ALWAYS be concussions in football! There are ALWAYS 22 players on the field at any given time and they are colliding violently. The new safety protocols will not result in fewer concussions. What they will do is make sure that the guys that have suffered concussions already are not the players on the field suffering the next one also. Take Javhid Best for example. If he had played even a few years ago he would have been back on the field shortly after his concussion. Because of the new safety measures, he may have a reasonably healthy life as an explayer.
