Who cares about Brett Favre???...All you Viqueens fans are absolutely pathetic! You are the most band-wagon, un-appreciative fans in the NFL. Once this old man finally hangs up his cleats and his larger than life, drama queen ego, you will all climb back in the closet of being Vikings haters...
I can't wait for Julius Peppers to bring the terror down on Mr. Ego...you're an old, unappreciative, egotistical loser...

I'm a Vikes fan and DEFINITLY not a Favre fan. Overrated could never EVER make it in a major market...Perfect for Green Bush, not needed here. Always made the STUPIDIST plays possible, his receivers saved his sorry butt and he got all the glory.

Even funnier then the idea that the Vikes will win the Super Bowl are their comments about Favre, these same people just a few years ago were saying things like:If the refs didn't favor Favre the Pack would only win 3-4 games a year, Favre is the most over rated QB in the NFL, Favre shoud retire because he is washed up, Favre is a dope addict, Favre is a drunk, etc. Now these same people would crawl over busted glass to smell his underwear.

This is a sad spectacle.

Vikings organization and fans have battered woman syndrome.

The worse Brett treats them (see last pass against Saints and holdout), the more they NEED HIM!

This is NOT any Super Bowl team. It's NO team.

It's Brett Favre and everyone else. Good luck. No way Vike fans. No way.

Your screen name reveals you are a dolt.

Don't worry, mensa, your ENTIRE VIKINGS ORGANIZATION is now completely connected to a guy who could not BOTHER to show up for training camp and THREW AWAY a stupid pick in the NFC Championship with no provocation.

But, to be honest, that's why Vikings fans always deserve to lose.

Good God, you have to fly three of your top vets to talk your 40 year old quarterback into coming back for a $7 million raise?

I've bet money with my pals when Favre gets "hurt" this year. He KNOWS he shot his wad last year, he can't play at that level anymore, but the Wilfs will throw ANY AMOUNT at him to get dumbass politicians to ramrod a taxpayer stadium down our gullets.

Favre = New Stadium to the desperate Viking owners.

Favre legend is not going to end well. Wilf legend either.

This is the most ridiculous scenario: LMFAO a 41 y.o. QB who THREW AWAY A SUPER BOWL .... AGAIN!!!!!!.

The Vikings SHOT THEIR WAD last year. They're a mess.

2010 is a far tougher schedule than last year.

Oh, but the MESSIAH landed at Flying Cloud today!! Good God! What is wrong with Minnesota Vikings fans?

Looking forward to the new NFL season. Brett Favre brings excitement to the game. I hope he performs well and stays healthy. I Think Teddy "B" is asking for for #4's head on his trophy mantle. Give em hell Brett and make this a year for the record books.

I'm glad the silver fox is back and it will make the Vikings-Saints game that much more fun to watch. As for Teddy the cheater on ESPN, keep your mouth shut, I think your jealous that you can't play as long as Brett Favre and the person that wrote about the cheating, Amen to that brother..I really don't expect the Vikings to win a Super Bowl but I'm so glad that Brett came back for one more year..it will be a fun season.

Congrats Vikings fans. There is simply something magical about this guy. All of Packer Nation was totally p****d off during the last few years of Farve's career during which he played the retirement card better than Mozart performed on the piano, myself included. Now you folks have had a taste, but it may be worth the aggravation. One always has to remember that Brett is a master showman - he clearly understands better than anybody that while football is a game, in today's NFL, it is even more so an entertainment business and he knows how to market himself for additional millions.

There is no bigger Packer fan than I, but a few of us could not contain ourselves and we rooted for the Vikings last year when the Packers were not their opponent, especially last year in the playoffs against Dallas and the Saints. It was painful to watch the pounding he took in his final game last season. If Childress and Bevell do not scheme better to protect this guy, you folks might be in for a long year. Your stud running back not only must have his greatest year in the league to take the pressure off Brett, but he has to learn how to hold on to the football!

I will be cheering on what appears to be a very good Packer team (although I think overrated due to a shaky O-line and several questions on D), but I will be wishing Brett well.

Let the games begin!

It's funny to hear people still crying about the officiating in the NFC championship.

Look straight at your QB if you want to know why you lost. He ended the year with a backbreaking interception like he always does. He hasn't been able to get it done since 1996...

To those Bruchi and Pat haters at least they built a team for a long run and did not have to cherry pick a QB. NFL is about development so that is why you have one shot this year and good luck going forward.

Tedy, you are a weirdo, ya like his mates begged him-they begged him,
"Oh Brett Oh Brett,, Please, please, don't leave us now! Come back"
Ya, that is what they did, you weirdo.
And next time you are on, emphasize begging one more time, please!
You can't stand the fact that ya'll have nothing else to talk about on espn.
Go wax your chest, Brett rules, go Vikes!!!!

I am Viking fan and am glad that Favre is back for another season. The Queens are a much better team with him at QB than TJOKE, as witnessed by the fact that 3 Vikings took off to go and get him. Do you think they would have wanted Favre if they had ANY kind of confidance in TJOKE? Of course not. Problem now is that everyone, and I mean everyone will be gunning for him, namely his ankle. I am guessing, and it's just a guess, that Favre will get hit and knocked out early this season and the Queens will end up with TJOKE anyway. I know that the entire league is pretty much alienated from Favre now becuase of his antics so I guarantee you there is a painted bullseye on that ankle. I hope Hutchinson and his buddies are up to the task of protecting him because now, well, he has NO mobility at all. Favre will be a sitting duck for a cheap shot and hence, his career will be over and the Queens will be back to where they started 2 years ago, that being with a no talent QB and a coach who drafted him and the ego that won't allow him to even give Rosenfels a real shot at the back up job....Either way it plays out it should be an interesting season to be sure. Gio Vikings...and good luck, I think you are going to need it.

Favre, too old??? "Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill." And when you have some youth and skill of your own, it's even better!!!

I'm sorry, but the Pat's were caught cheating during a time period where they won three super bowls. While the Vikings going after Favre maybe isn't appealing to some fans, it is nonetheless within the rules of football. Tedy and Co. broke the rules and I find it insulting to have someone from the Pat's lecture the Vikings organization about stooping to new levels to win a super bowl. It's like ESPN having Tiger Woods on to give marital advice.
