Did the Vikings organization just forget what Jackson was able to do at the end of last season? He dominated in his role and looked excellent. Sure he got roughed up by the Eagles d in the playoffs, but so did Eli Manning and you don't see the Giants going out looking for replacements for him.

Good God man please tell me you are not equating these two qb's.

unloyal packer fans & they are unloyal & here is why ,did the 49ers talk bad about joe montana when he left to KC ( NO not at all) i mean favre is a guy that took this team to a superbowl & this was a team that hadnt won scent bart star, What kind of fan is this ? not a loyal one that i see . now VIKINGS fans are loyal , none talk about fran that took us to a superbowl & lost, all still say what a good player he was & the same goes for the 49ers & montana, you would think packer fans would have a nice word for a guy that won them a superbowl & named a street after him (WHAT DO YOU THINK VIKE FANS, IS PACKER FANS LOYAL ?) GO VIKINGS

Hey Sean Jensen, you should go after Shefter. Let's see a little digging here and find out who made this crap up. It makes the Vikes, you reporters and the community look bad nationally. Adam Shefter should either say who he heard it from or shut his pie hole.

Another case of the press trying to make a story where there isn't one. Sage and T-Jack probably said they were happier before Favre got there. There's your "unnamed sources"

Do we now have to create news? Give it a rest! Obviously someone is worried that the Vikings have indeed found the final piece of the puzzle and want to try to create a faction within the team to disrupt that. Get over it! Report something true!

REMINDER! The Vikings were almost blacked out for several home games last season and now we need not worry about that! Also, Jackson choked numerous times and has had plenty of chances! Now all of a sudden just because he had a good game against 2nd & 3rd stringers in a meaningless pre-season game he has all this support! What a joke! The bottom line is even at almost 40, Favre is a MUCH better and smarter QB than Jackson & Sage will ever hope to be! Go Vikes!

ESPN "has been football players" now turned sportscasters are alot to blame for this crap. They seek out some loudmouth bench warmer to muddy the water. Adrian Peterson, God bless em..Until Favre proves otherwise than great, shut your pie hole! Mark Whats his name on ESPN is guilty of some of this crap..The way he looks he will soon be doing the nutri system info's. The man is blowing up right before your eyes.Yea, the Ex Bronco chump white boy that spews Favre hatred. As far as Packer fans...hey, they killed one Head Coach's dog.(Dan Devine)

my guess...it's a slow time for news...ESPN and all the rest went snooping around on blogs like this, found some rhetoric from PUKER FANS about BF'S locker room crap; then with the help of some kids in kindrgarten, were able to read and understand the posts; resulting in their "unnamed sources" bs. they then asked these kids to proofread and edit their articles and posted them on the net.

How much bull$h!t has been generated by some press people already this year by their making-up crap, and saying it's from "an un-named source", or "a source close to the team"?- That as-shole Dundermouse, or Vandermouse, that's always shoveling $h!t over at greenbaypressgazette.com writes hack stories that are only GB cheerleader stories, or stupid speculations based upon his own weak concepts of reality. That dude's just one more example of how these $h!thouse rumors start. If you read any of his crap over the the last couple years, Rodgers is the second coming of JC.(BF was the first) Very few sports writers these days are trustworthy. Glazer's about the only one with any credibility, IMO. I don't always agree with him, but at least his articles are either factual, or honest opinion.- Not "sensationalism".... Sorry. Having a "p!$$ed at the press" morning.

It appears that Mr. Schefters credability has just taken a hit for attempting to manufacture a story for ESPN that doesn't appear to be true after hearing from over a dozen vets and starters.

Comparing the two isn't even possible. The differences are HUGE, for chrissakes! For example: Would you put sugar, or $h!t, in your coffee?

Now that ESPN is a sports monopoly with their loud, noisy,"experts" the rest of us are fed their daily pap. Turn off the damn tv. It only gets worse during basketball season with Digger and Vitale rushing to kiss Knights ring every two minutes. Reminds me of the junk expertise coming from the business experts at MSNBC. God save us from those in the know.
