Maybe he could simply go to Florida for the rest of the season.

Rest assured, fans will not lose any sleep over the fact that Jackson will be gone after this year. he was a BIG TIME BUST!! Time for The Vikings draft to get serious about finding a future QB with real talent or they will be a ho-hum team. I love the Vikings, but they need a Quality QB!!

You really have to feel for Tarvaris; it's tough to have your season ended by such a horrendous injury, but I guess that's the risk one takes when they sign up to lay in the NFL.

Now, I know that some people will criticize T-Jack for not living up the the standards of that 40-year-old guy, who has been playing through a rotator cuff injury, a couple of fractures in his ankle, etc., but -- PLEASE!-- this guy has a SORE TOE!
It would be INHUMAN to expect him to be able to keep playing through that kind of an injury!

You know, some guys finish their NFL careers needing surgery on their shoulders, elbows, ankles, knees, tendons, or ligaments... some guys even have permanent brain damage that have resulted from their years of play... but, for the love of humanity, I just can't bear the thought of poor Tarvaris finishing his career with Turf Toe!

I bet he'd give back all of the millions he received in salary during his NFL career IF ONLY he didn't have to face this horror!

LOL, you got a guy in a wheel chair for a quarterback whose got broken bones, bad shoulder, beginning Alzheimer's and he is not on IR, but you got another quarterback who's got a boo-boo on his toe and they put him on IR.

I wonder, serious question, does the player have any input on being place on IR?

I hope Favre doesn't start and Webb does, maybe Tark2 LOL!!!

that and best chance or not, win help pack, but mostly yeah that's it only pride at this point which is all but gone for both sides of the ball on the vikings after the giants game, at least Webb brings enthuasiasm and WANTS to play and has been working hard all year, if he doesn't work the vikings know what to do

It took almost 5 years but finally Klink and TJ are out of the picture. I don't agree with those who think TJ was a bust however. He never should have been drafted to begin with let alone in the second round. Everyone but Klink knew that fact. It's not like he was a leading college QB.

Now that this awful period is over (and we are left with absolutely no one at QB) we can start clean. Please Zygi hire a GM. A GOOD GM..not the first person who walks into your office. Do not simply turn the team over to Frazier. While I am sure he is very capable this team needs someone with a lot more HC chops to help rebuild this once proud franchise. Frazier simply does not have enough experience to tackle a very daunting challenge!

Let's start talking up Tarvaris, or we won't get anything at all when we trade him away. Hey, he could still be a decent back-up for some other team, right? Come on, just keep repeating it until it sounds plausible, and we might get SOMETHING back for this guy. Skol Vikings.

Jackson a free agent after this season? Really? Oh please sign elsewhere! I think if J-Webb (sorry) gets healthy, he can get the job done. This Ramsey guy is a complete joke....so sad we have to resort to the bottom of the barrel.
