Im sick of whining Green Bay Packer fans, Ive had too many disgusting encounters with classless, mindless, cheeseheads more than any other team fans put together. Weve(Vikings) have humbled you before, and if it weren't for Brett Favre, you would be prideless.

Ha! This is great! I love when divisonal players sign with other teams in that same division. It just makes those 2 games between the packers and the vikings just that much more fun.

Plus the guy is an old bat, it is the vikings running game that wins them games.

Peterson over 1800 yards this year or more

Why? Because without Brett Favre, the Packer's would only have eleven NFL titles? Green Bay would still be Title Town! However, when he helped the Packers, for the record twelvth time, become the world's best football team, it certainly added to the pride that Packer fans have in our team. If the Vikes ever become the world's best you may know what pride feels like. Until then, it is best not to talk about things you know nothing about.

Oops. You weren't talking about having pride. You were talking about being "prideless." Every Viking and Viking fan is an expert in that subject. So, carry on ...

This is one of the most sophomoric, immature diatribes I have ever read. This is an embarrassment of an article but I wouldn't expect anything less from the land of cheese and Packers.

Not all Packer fans are as childish as the author of this article. Keep in mind, sports writers get their jobs because they can write, not because they know anything about sports.

I, for one, applaud the Viking management for making aggressive attempts to improve. That seems to have been lacking from Packer management in recent years. Of course, signing Favre doesn't guarantee anything. It may even be a mistake. As a fan, I'de rather see my team make aggressive mistakes than passive mistakes though.

What a load of crap, but coming from sconny, who would ever question its validity.
Brett cried at each retirement, now the sconny press has a box full of tissue, and they'll need it with all the whining going on.
Yeah, gb will make Favre pay for his broken allegiance, LOL
The puckers will have to be a LOT better than last year to even get a whiff of Brett.
Let's see if that 6-10 is legit, or was it a high point in the otherwise lifeless body called gein bay football.

Normal vomit from a seasoned cheddarhead, but it's nice to get to witness such drivel, makes one appreciate what the disenfranchised have to work through every day.
The gbp I know are 6-10 so when you wake up, check the standings, LOL

Michael you smell of a sense of betrayal, a dash of fear, and some sort of bad cheese......eat some veggies :) Sleep well now that Favre wears purple, and know that if he is successful this year and maybe even next, he might go into the HOF as a Viking. Thank your management for that one. I am amazed that your community would allow the single greatest PACKER in recent history to be discarded like trash. Favre brought a face back to GB, and made them a winner for many seasons. As I recall, the packers were horrible for MANY years before Favre arrived. Its time for a wake-up call in GB. If Favre takes the Vikings to the Superbowl, and wins....what will happen in GB....hopefully a reality check of your current leadership, remember you guys are the real owners. I thought that is what made this franchise so special. Somewhere along the way you all became "drunken" by consistent quality football....all brought to by Favre or should I say the guy you dispise and tear-down today. Silly community.

“Are you serious?”

Typical Packer rant, it's all about you. Favre isn't playing because he loves the game (as you people kept saying for years) he's playing to get even, accoring to you. Well, even your beloved Vince Lombardi didn't want to stay in Green Bay!

They did not want him in Green Bay. They did not want him on the NY Jets so he is the perfect loser for the Vikings. Mr Ego finally got his money. 8 & 8 if we are lucky.

wisconsin fans (and now journalists) are the most predictable, childish, and two faced fans in all the land. how can a professional newspaper possibly print a story like this, that is so completely rife with opinion and 'a lover scorned' attitude? only in wisconsin...if brett favre was still playing in green bay this would certainly be a different story...the old gunslinger trying to lead his team once again...interceptions? yea, but he's a playmaker, us packer fans will take that any day...give me a flippin break, where did the eternal love for brett favre go? I used to walk into wal-marts in WI and see nothing but brett favre dvds playing on teh tvs. Now hes on a different team and he's an a-hole, selfish, and not that good of a player...guess what, he's the same guy who was all of these things for 15 years in WI...you idiots were just too dense to notice it then. I dont have a necessarily positive opinion on brett, but the stupidity of wisconsin fans overwhelms any other thoughts

I'm not even sure the Herschel Walker trade was this embarrassing.

There is no way this is going to end well for the Vikings. This is a horrible move by a pathetic, desperate coach who's completely botched the QB position since he arrived in Minnesota. After all this hoopla, we still have the third best QB in our division, with a partially torn rotator cuff to boot.

When Favre throws another careless season-ending INT, will Viking fans feel any better that he threw it instead of Tarvaris Jackson? Wake up people. With the human interception machine as our QB this year, we'll be lucky to make the playoffs. I'd love to have to eat my words at the end of the season, but I won't have to. This is going to be a disaster.

Mr. Wilf, if the Vikings miss the playoffs this year, will you please fire Childress? The only reason Childress still has a job is because six teams were dumb enough to pass on Adrian Peterson.
