Is Tom Powers the worst that Twin Cities could find?? I'll bet there's no worse out there. What an assclown!

I just hope the Vikings don't draft a DE in the first round. Either go OL or trade down in the draft to reacquire a pick. Mallet, Locker, or Dalton should be available around 20. See if you can't trade down and get more picks. At least the locket has ended (for now) thanks to the judge's ruling! Maybe Edwards will sign his tender so we can trade him!

I am so tired of all this pre draft and FA jargan. Everybody knows's a matter of who. As far as QB goes.....there's about 6 potential directions they can go.......but they can only choose 1. I hear all the "expert analysts" saying what but let's hear the real solution.......who? I love how these writers make money telling us what we already know.

Between Powers' article and Sansevere's 2 paragraph, broken-English dribble, what does it take to get hired on as a sports writer at the PP?
Here's an idea-
PP announces the story theme, normal readers/sports followers run with their own article. Best article wins $250.
I guarantee you'll see more effort put into the writing.

Greg McElroy seems to be a sleeper in the draft. Someone the Vikings can maybe get with a 3rd round pick who has the potential to be that 'guy' who can fight his way up through the system. Without knowing how hard he's had to work to get to where he's a hard read. Some of these guys are just so smart that they've been the QB since they were 8 years old...and don't know any different. Others were told they were too short, too slow, or had too weak of an arm. Not sure McElroy fits any of these categories, but he's got to be on the Vikes board for late R2 or R3...otherwise it's the Vikes who are stupid. If you're going with a long term QB...better to get someone who can put together more than 3 sentences in a row...or the Vikes faithful will be brutal towards Zygi and his team.
