You wouldn't see Naegle (and now whoever owns the Wild), the Pohlads or Taylor doing this move. Good job Ziggy. Let's have some fun with this and enjoy the season. We had no other options and he might work out.

Nice twist to end the article! I thought McNaab would be here this year, especially after Ried benched him during a game last year.Vick isn't a bad option either. In Vick, Paterson & Harvin you'd have three of the most exciting playmakers in the NFL.

After everyone was mocking and ridiculing the guy, now everyone does a 180 and thinks he's the next coming of Christ Almighty . If you put a tachometer on Chili's tongue it would probably be redlining about now as it digs in deeper to the depths of the former Wisconsin's Dairy-Air . Wont this guy just go away?

like Bob's TV pieces a year or so ago, who cares.....this is hype and just another way for the masses to forget how bad things are...at least we'll get some taxes out of Farve....I hope his repaired arm survives camp, that is the next story

being a bears fan, I always thought us bear people and the purple people had something in common, a true hatred for the greenies. Now that yall have went and sold your souls just to get what the greenies had I have to say yall are a bunch of pathetic losers. We wanna win so bad we will sleep witht he enemy. I have to say the purple team is better but at what price. Through out history the greenies will always say the only way they could do it was with our q.b., Ill take 6th place in the division before i sell out for anything green.

I think it's H.L. Mencken who wrote: No one's ever gone broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people. Same goes for Vikings fans who think Favre will put them in the Super Bowl.

So what happens when Favre throws interceptions at key playoff times and the Queens don't get to the Super Bowl? Lots of pouting and second-guessing with Chili and Ziggy getting the brunt of frustrated Queen fans, not to mention a lot of "I told you so."

So we owe Favre signing with the Vikes to his 10 year old daughter?

PULLEEEEEEZZZZZZZ.

Egomaniacs don't need no stinking reason. They do just 'cause they must stay in the limelight juuuust a little longer.

I am very excited about the signing on Favre!, but he looked old and tired. I understand he is turning 40 but he doesnt look like he has lifted weights in 3 years. I think he has a lot of work to do between now and the start of the regular season.

You cannot win Viking fans. Either Farve will take you down like he did with the the Jets and the Packers the year before that or you needed to have a PAcker help you win the Superbowl.

Favre was a greenie, then he was another greenie (Jets). In case you didn't realize, football has this new thing called free agency where teams are allowed to pick up free agents that hopefully will make the team better. Or you could just sacrifice your future and trade 17 draft picks for a QB when you don't have any receivers. Sound familiar?

Best of both worlds here. Either Favre does well and gets the Vikes to the Super Bowl, or the Vikes flame out and Chilly is gone.

It ain't news to me! That whole press conference was a farce. The president didn't get that much TV time. Who the heck does this guy--and the press--think they are?$25 million for 2 years? What a waste of money. Oh, but he only wants to be competitive...no other reason. Give us a break man.

6th place would be quite a trick in a 4 team division.

Its Chiily's wet unrealized dream. Nothing more. I shall enjoy watching him fail at reaching the Super Bowl now. Thanks backstabber Chilly.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Aquarius

If you're still happily munching chocolates and all sorts of other goodies, you'll have to take yourself in hand at some point during the coming fortnight. Maybe you'll have to compensate for all the festive over-eating by taking more exercise or cutting back on the calories, or perhaps you'll decide that you can't delay giving up smoking any longer. As Mercury turns in your twelfth house of secrets, messages you receive at this time may be very subtle or contain hidden meanings meant only for your understanding.
