Full story: TwinCities.com

People who support TJoke should realize what 31 other teams in the NFL realize, hence why do you think TJoke is still here? Here is your answer, no other team would give up a pick.

Then say the same thing about Tony Romo who was terrible against the same Eagles team the week before that knocked them out of the playoff's and to Manning who was even worse from a superbowl championship the week after! You cant because you have a double standard. That was Tarvaris first playoff game and though he did not play good, no other QB looked good against them pretty much most of the season except for Warner and the Cards who were on fire. If you dont understand that, then quit watching the game because you never will understand it! Maybe Hopscotch is more up your alley!

Now we know why Sage is a Viking, he has ties to Rick Spielman. It makes perfect sense now because it didn't make football sense.Sage was actually put in a win win situation. A 3 million signing bonus guarantees a roster spot deservedly so are not.Now Chilly still isn't sure who the backup will be,even though Sage was plainly outplayed.I quess it is who you know even at the expense of a whole team.Favoritism still very much alive.Sage has been a nine year backup, pretty slow learning curve.Someone said he is a half a step quicker then Gus,did you see that naked bootleg down by the goal line laughable. We will never win unless we play our best players first.

My guess is they couldn't get anything for him. That would mean Klink would have to admit he made a mistake. So keep him and Klink saves face. And let's face it as bad as he is, he is all we got (Sage notwithstanding). I'm still curious what happens next year. Is Klink ever going to get a qualified franchise QB? I don't think so.

Favre is the stater. The coaches saw the preseason games and practices. They know who they will put in if called to do so. It isn't important at this point in time what is playing out behind closed doors. Jackson did show improvement from his playoff game, but he didn't have the pressure on him. I'd have to see him perform in a do or die situation before conceding he is ready to step forward and actually lead the team. He gets year four to hone his skills and its likely he will play in some regular season games.

Of course they shopped Jackson and of course nobody wanted him. Why would they? Is there a team with an offense featuring jump passes, QB's that bail the pocket if the primary is covered, or that require the QB to over or underthrow passes? Only Childress has a blind spot for Jackson's poor play as everyone else can see it. Of course Childress is still trying to show the NFL he can "mold a QB like a piece of clay".

Best group of QB's since he has been here. That's not saying much. The weakest link is a t the most important position. Still would have rather given up a 1st & 3rd for Cutler. Yes no Harvin but that i sOK. A special QB is worth more than a risky WR anyday. A QB of the present and future. BF is maybe the QB of the relative distant past and we all hope that that is enough.

I have to disagree with your comment. The Eagles Defense was/is one of the best. A seasoned team that plays in the NFC East. They can make a lot of QBs look like crap. Tjack has potential. He is just inconsistent. If he can learn under Favre, he could be a good asset. Has he had a good mentor, since he has been in the NFL? I would like to see the guy succeed...
