Glad to see Robison staying aboard. Please cut Berrian and Williams. Just do it NOW. Replace them with anyone, they couldn't possibly be worse than these two overpaid stiffs.

Hey Vikings fans.......if you want me next draft year lose all your games this coming season if there is one.....then you are garanteed to finally get a number 1 overall pick and grab me as your future franchise QB.

But if you are in the middle of the pack again like many many years before you will have to draft another John Booty or trade for another Tarvaris Jackson.

Good LUCK!!

I'm also glad they signed another white player! We need more white meat in the lineup!

$14.1 million contract with a $6.5 million signing bonus

Isn't that about how much a new roof on the dome costs?

The way things are looking right now ;by the actions of the ownership mainly when it comes to going after people in free agency and signing our own potential free agents, it,s going to be along season next year if there is one.

Good job BR, looks like your hard work's paid off. Hopefully you can step in next year and dominate! Does that mean no DEs in the first round in the draft? Looks like the Vikes will end up taking J Locker (WSH), T Smith (USC), N Solder (COL), M Pouncey (FLA) or J Jones (Bama). IMO, we'll take Locker if he's available.

I like Robison but think they paid too much for what he contributes. Anyhow, he's a good kid and I hope he has his best football ahead of him.

The Vikings version of Clay Mathews is Brian Robison.

The Vikings version of Aaron Rodgers is Brett Farve.

The Vikings always trying to copy cat Green Bay but will never
ever reach the superbowl!!!

I think this is a good move. Robison has shown some promise, but hasn't spent a great deal of time on the field. The team may still go for a DT in round one, but DE is a slightly lower priority with this signing.

Don't rule him out just yet. Not that I'm looking forward to having him back - we can't go into a season with Joe Webb as the only QB to have taken a snap with this team.

There will be plenty of QB's avaialable to sign that have better upside that T-Jack.
Unless he wants to get a smaller check for handling the clip board.

Geez, two good moves by the Vikings...kissing TJack (and the Chilly legacy) goodbye and signing Robison. For that money, we can only assume the coaching staff sees an expanded role for him going forward.

I wish T-Jack the best wherever he ends up- CFL, Arena. He is not an NFL QB and I don't think he ever will be.

So set the wayback machine to April 2006 and the Chilly draft where we traded two- third round picks for the second rounder that got us T-Jack, "snatching" him away from the teams that had him graded as a 4-7th rounder. Chilly proclaimed- "I can't wait to see what the kid can do with some coaching". Five years later- we are all still wondering the same thing. And that is how we got to where we are today.:p

Excellent post - look out for the PC crowd, however - they'll call you a **racist** before you can blink (racial pride only applies to non-whites in case you haven't noticed;-). On Robison, agreed - smart to keep - plays with a motor, unlike the lazy Edwards who's ego is HUGE and play small and lazy. On TJOKE, GREAT to see him go, but I don't think well wishes are necessary - he was glued in place politically by MORON Childress, no talent and all (he's essentially a brain-dead qb - who cannot grasp the game). He, with MORON'S help, milked this organization for a long, long time.
