I wished they'd just cut Jackson and be done with it. Let him leave. The Vikings and Viking fans think so low of him. Why keep him around. The organization and fan base view him as one of the worst QBs ever. So if he's so bad, why keep him on the roster. He's obviously too dumb to lead them to a championship with all that loaded talent. Why keep him around? Let him be some other teams problem. Most people feel like JDB is better anyway. Either give him the keys or draft the future of the franchise.

Vikes did shop him pre-season but no takers. The guy did have a great pre-season and has shown potential at times. It will be interesting to see where Chilly goes at QB if Favre doesn't come back. The one option that is not listed here is Pennington, he will be a free agent. Jackson just doesn't seem to have it upstairs, like you said but he may get the rein's again in lieu of Favre's abscence, we'll see.

Pennington, another playoff failure. A perfect fit for the Vikes.

Booty was cut, no nfl team picked him up and DrAJReed, thinks he is better than Jackson? Keep your day job and don't speak for vikings fans.

John David Booty, don't make me laugh Reed!!

I will speak for all vikings fans. NOBODY WILL SUPPORT YOU JDB IDEA.

Penningon? we kicked Johnson out the door because he was Pennington. Where have you been?

If you want to support the best QB in the draft it is Jevan Snead.

I love his game, I guess I am biased, career 66% completion passer. His injury may be to severe to ever play at the level he once played at though, worth a look though if BF doesn't return, that is all, just take a look.

Hard to predict how qb's will fare in the pro's. I like Bradford and McCoy, don't know much about Snead, never watched him play, used to follow college ball real close but haven't been the past few years so I am a bit out of the loop but I think McCoy would fit nice in our west coast scheme, I just want Fvre back and then we can go from there, first things first.

One more thing, I know you like Jackson and there is nothing that would please me more as well if the guy could be our future qb, but he hasn't shown the ability to get to that elite level we need at that position. Anyway I was saying that it wouldn't surprise me one bit, if Favre didn't return, that Chilly would go in Jackson's direction again, he did have another year to learn and also learn from the best if he was listening and watchin', I have mixed feelings about him, almost want to say give him one more chance but then again..........

Why aren't you on the Tebow bandwagon like most guys in this forum? Jevan Snead is better than Bradford and McCoy.
