As an NFL fan, I am shocked that the Colts only received one home primetime game. It is often seen as a negative to teams that play primetime games on the road because it makes the following week short in terms of practice and preperation. I think Super Bowl Champs should get at least 2 if not 3 at home.
The NFL is set up to disadvantage the champion. The draft system, the salary cap, and the weighted schedule are specifically designed to allow multiple teams to achieve copmpetitive turnaround. Winning once, while not easy, is far from unusual. But it is very easy to become yesterday's news in the NFL (ask the Steelers).

I believe that we have a serious chance at repeating because Peyton is going to come into this season calmer than ever...he's got his ring, there is no more "He cant win the big one", and we have a good recieving core. i'm not worried about the free agents that have left...polian knows what he is doing.

If the Colts do well they can pick up one more prime time game during the Sunday part of the flex schedule as they are maxed out now on games allowed to play in prime time ! Prime
time is prime time , home or away !

CBS/Fox get to protect 4 games per year that cannot be played in prime time. CBS protected the Pats and Broncos at the Colts. Had those games not been protected they would be played in prime time.

Your team sucks. And your fans are wankers too.
