He saw what he had to work with and decided that they won't win another with what they have.
How about he decided that he had made solid financial decisions through out his career and after 10 years of spending Mon,Tue,Wed in the whirlpool(doesn't read hot tub) that he would go out while he could still walk and function as a human.

Good call Tarik! I'm sure you still have lots to contribute at your next endevour.

Wow, he'll definitely be missed. Retiring at 31 must feel pretty great though.

It is truly sad to see you go. I could handle all of the other losses this offseason, but the loss of the anchor on our overachieving and severely underrated O-Line is very disheartening. I can only continue to trust what Polian and the rest of the staff is doing to keep us at or near the top of the league.

Thanks for ten great years, and best of luck during your retirement. If you only give half the heart to your future endeavors as you gave the Colts, you will no doubt find success and happiness.

Time to take it easy for a change!

Manning might as well retire too. His season just came to an end. I am having flashbacks to 2000... manning getting hammered every other play. Everyone knows Manny can't play for crap when he is rushed / flushed / has to run for his life.

One of the great left tackles in the history of the game. We'll miss Tarik Glenn. One of the reasons for the false starts, my friends, was that he had the best burst off the line of any LT ever... He got flagged because the officials eyes couldn't believe his speed.
As someone that had season tickets in 1991 and sat through a loss in every game at home... and still loved the Colts!!!!!!!!!!
I say Thank you Tarik! The cornerstone of our Super Bowl Champion Colts!!

I just never get tired of saying or typing that! World Champion Indianapolis Colts!!!!!!!!

Thanks Tarik

I have forgot more about football then your hillbilly ass from whatever hick town that is knows about football. Unlike you and that hick town you live in, I have the NFL ticket, and watch many games on Sundays, just not the Colts. I have watched alot of Colt football and know that Manning is dogshit when he has to run.
As for the Ravens, what do you mean they regressed ??? They lost 1 player from the best D in football and will replace Thomas with another great LB in Johnson. He will be the next Bart Scott, a no name turned into a pro bowler. Oh and incase you forgot the Ravens added what they have needed for the last 3 years on offense- a stud running back in Magahee. As for the Pats, there D just added the guy I mentioned above- Pro Bowler Addalius Thomas. And they dont have the weak WR's they had last year. They added Moss and Stallworth. Brady has never had that much talent before, watch out.
Now go back to your hick town and gather with all the other bandwagon Indy fans who know jack shit about football.
The Ravens had the best "D" in football last year? Well, the best D in football doesn't lose in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs. According to my calculations, the Colts had the best D in the league when it counted...the playoffs. The Ravens are old and getting older (McNair, Lewis, etc...) and the Pats aren't all that young either. Whoo! They got Randy Moss! a malcontent with a habit of taking off plays and complaining (not to mention smoking weed and mooning fans). Even with their additions, the Pats receiving core still can't sniff the Colts...believe that! Harrison, Wayne, Clark, Utecht, Gonzalez, name me a better group of pass catchers! Tarik Glenn will be missed, but the Colts saw it coming when they drafted Ugoh. If we don't repeat, look for a run in 2008!

While I agree with all the false starts, I do remembering him as one of the greatest in my eyes. Hope we can get someone great to replace him. I just hope he comes to more Franklin Central Football games, he's a huge dude. Best of luck my man!

So much for the team. Would have been nice to get a little notice like Tiki gave his team. He probably cared more about his team. Very good career ended on a sour note. Later dude.

Your both wrong and jerks. Training for and playing in the NFL is incredibly tough. For a true sportsman these decisions are gut-wrenching. Don't be surprised if Tarik changes his mind in a few weeks. This game has been his life for the last 20 years, it's one of the hardest decisions he has had to made at his age.
I love it

You are ripping on the Pats defense and your best Linebacker is Rob Morris who would not start for any other team in the league ??? Colts fans are not allowed to rip on other defenses considering the pre season ranking for the Colts defense is 28th. Colts will need to score 40 plus, not 30 a game with that defense.
That D pulled 1 title out of there ass, no way they do it again. Enjoy your 1st and last championship. The AFC is stacked with 7-8 teams who could win it.
It wasn't oru first championship smart ass, you must have forgot quite a bit of football not to know that.

And I get it you are jsut a stupid little troll who spends his day ragging on the colts because your welfare check hasn't arrived yet.

Get a life and get a clue.
