I'm all for this. Throw in Ugoh and get him ready. This is a classic example of how the Colts use young players to play pivotal roles for them. Of course, he'll likely play multiple line positions during the preseason so I'm not holding my breath that he's the answer to the left tackle puzzle.

Hmmm, imagine that, Simon's agent was full of s**t when he said that Corey is "in great shape"...
I predict he never plays a down as a Colt again...
Has there ever been a week when Sanders was not on the injury list?
I just hope he stays healthy when it matters because we all know how much he means to that D...

If you were Sanders size and you demolish people twice your size your going to have injuries. Matter of fact he was hurt last year due to an injury he got in practice. Keep him off the practice field as long as it takes, when he's back there at 100% it's like having your big brother in an alley fight

I agree with your post 100%. You would hope that he would not have a shoulder issue 6 months after the SB, though...

So, he's been "demolishing" people in the off season? He's ALREADY hurt and the most he's been doing is acting cool with his shades on in every single press event under the sun.

Too much hoopin at Black Expo for Sanders. Or maybe he hurt the shoulder putting those giant sunglasses on his face.

Is this a contract year for Bob?

I agree 100%. I am amazed and perplexed that the Colts organization allows this to continue! It has been six months and he still is injured?
There are many players in all of professional sports that do not like to practice, and he is one of them.
The fans would have you believe because of his size and his hitting ability this should give him a free pass from summer camp....newsflash....that position requires you to be a good hitter and tackling guys twice your size! That's why they pay him the big bucks.
Sanders saving grace is he plays on the defensive side of the ball, if he were on the offense, Manning would have his a.. traded!
You can't repeat if you are going to coddle players like this and I'm not sure why this continues!
If Sanders doesn't like to practice in hot weather, then trade him to Minnesota or Green Bay.
It only takes a couple of players on a team to disrupt the chemistry....ask the Pacers!!
Since the fans and taxpayers are paying for Lucas Oil Stadium and supporting the team, I believe the Colts owe us an explanation on Simon..maybe that is to much to ask!

He may be in great physical shape. Unfortunately a physical isn't a measure of that. The physcial is a medical test, not a fitness test.

He demolishes people when he plays, he had shoulder surgey in the off season, Im sure they are holding him out of practice as a precautionary. No more knocking Bob, without him I doubt they would be champs

I'm not sure why people think he makes that much of a difference.

Of course he helped us agaist the run...hell anyone could have done a better job than we were doing.

Also, he can't cover s*** if we need him to.

I think this is just an excuse to hold him out of the workouts, or it's his own excuse to get out of training camp. Veterans do it all the time. It's a contract year for Bobby, so I'm not too worried about having him on the field most of the season. If he misses substantial time again, he value will drop through the floor.

people on here are crazy. bob had offseason surgery and there just holding him out for precautionary reasons. hes fine and why does he need to practice now he can line up and knock the shit out of somebody any day of the week without practice. and this if he doesnt want to practice in the hot weather than go to green bay or minn. be careful what you wish for cause he may be gone before you know it. hes the reason they made the run last year on defense. without him that defense would be horrible. so bob you sit out as long as you want and good luck tony ugoh on one of the most pressured packed jobs in the nfl. and thanks corey for one year and good luck to you in the future its ashame it wont be in indy and lets get ready for some football.
