Kansas City Chiefs 2008 Draft Preview

I'm hoping that, if Jake Long is grabbed up before the 5th pick, coupled with the availability of Darren McFadden, that KC swaps the 5th overall to Dallas for the 20th & 28th pick in the 1st round. That way, they're not too greedy with the compensation form Dallas, and they can grab 2 Offensive linemen, or an offensive lineman and a cornerback.

J.Long will be gone by #5. Peterson said the Chiefs will not trade up or down,but Peterson is a liar so I do not believe that.No team probably wants to negotiate with Carl anyway because he is a arrogant,hard-ass jerk so I believe they will be forced to keep #5.
Round 1 and 2 will be O-lineman.
3 will be a CB.
4 will be a WR.
5 will be another CB
6-7-8-9-10 does not matter because the way the Chiefs draft they probably wont even make the practice squad.
Dont count on the first round pick to be in camp on time either despite the 28 million$ the chiefs have to spend.If C.P.cant get the 20th pick signed on time(last year)there is NOOOO way #5 will be signed on time.

I say 6-7-8-9-10 above because the "K.C. Cheaps" have 10 picks this year. 2 in the 4th and 2 in the 6th or 7th I believe.

How did the Pats get the #7 pick from Frisco anyhow? Who/What did they trade?
