Tom Howard, Kirk Morrison, and Tommy Kelly can't do it all themselves. Gerrard Warren has made big plays too as well as Stanford Routt's 2 INTs, but Michael Huff hasn't seemed any different than Derrick Gibson. Derrick Burgess hasn't played with pro bowl calliper when healthy. Warren Sapp may have lost weight, but also seems to have lost playing ability. Terdell Sands entered the season with high expectations, but ended up getting benched. Nnamdi Asomugha so far has just shown to be a one season wonder. Fabian Washington has great breakaway speed, but lacks ability to make INTs. Sam Williams and Robert Thomas are doing the best they can as a 3rd linebacker and Stuart Schweigert seems to get put in bad positions due to blown assignments up front but has missed his share of tackles as well and he was one of the leading tacklers last year behind Howard and Morrison. Our secondary has only produced 2 INTs...both from Stanford Routt. This is the same secondary personell that was ranked #1 last year despite Schweigert and Huff combining for 0 INTs. The teams other 9 INTs this year have come from the linebackers. We have a solid core of linebackers and only two guys up front playing with consistancy.
