No time for 'Huff and puff': Raiders' free safety gets wake up ...

we can bring in every saftey in the NFL and it wont work..We need a d-coord that will not listen to AL'S BS,and a middle linebacker that can read the plays and make them,,If you watch anyother team in the NFL the main thing you notice is the MLB..They make plays on the inside and out,run down running backs and pop TE'S when they catch a ball,knock wr's and te's off the line and seal the run..Even the worst D's have that position performin better than us.. Morrison is the weak link on D,He's SLOW -- Cant shed a block at all,and has no pop what so ever..If you just keep your eyes on him,he rans back on run plays and steps up on pass plays.. He will run blitz right into the guard and you don't see him again..The only thing he does well is being in the picture when a person scores!! Fix the MLB and I think this D will run smoother!! And at seasons end make the biggest move AL,,Have ryan put hall in his suitcase and watch them walk away!!! M. Lewis will need a job by then

i think the offense needs to be able to keep the d off the field.talk about a bust lets talk about that moron we have playin qb.damn i find myself wishing that they will bench him and put someone else in.i know we dont have the best recieving core but most of his passes are uncatchable.

i like kirk morrison and i agree with you that he is slow. he has also done great things for RAIDERS. he does need some help there and coaches need to fix it up a bit on pass defense. i have to say that drew brees is straight out kicking but on passing and has done great since he started this season. straight out kicked our butts like the broncos did on the first game. our team just needs some tunning and big plays to get us going and it starts with jets. GO RAIDERS!!!

Hiram starting means we suck in the secondary.... Russell feels he had a good game it was only a few balls he threw high, a few low, but over all it wasn't his fault. This is beginning to look very scary before we are half way done. Maybe its time to see Walter and give Russell a game off so he can feel someone next to him. Walter can not do any worst then we have seen so far. Is it far off, Walter for Russell? The fans are ready for anyting if we can start Hiram then nothing is for sure

hey if it's broke fix it! huff agreed that he was not doing good and is okay with h eugene to take his place. huff took it like a man and stepped down! i once said the same as you did about j-russ and walter. but i have to say. they do have to take the training wheels off of russell and keep working with him and use more of the run with our (rb's) to give him some more patience! and at the same time (wr's have to step up more. some changes at (wr) will be made this sunday with schilenz stepping up with lelie. they are moving moutains here and there to fix the situations. good enough i say! GO RAIDERS!!!

Yet another season i had high expectations for the Raiders and yet another season it was torn to shreds. And these past couple weeks have really been embarrassing. But really why start Hiram? yes Huff has to step it up but he was a 1st round draft pick for a reason and Hiram is flat out terrible! But back to the disappointments the number 1 one being Deanglo Hall. At first i was thrilled about this news but after a few weeks i saw that Hall couldnt play man cov to save his life,cya off to the cowgirls. Another brilliant offseason idea lets sign the remains of whats left of Javon Walker. But possibly the biggest mistake of all wasting a number 1 draft pick on our buddy Russell. You can blame the line the WR core but ive watched this guy play every game since that game in Denver of last year and he is just awful. Im sorry JaMarcus but completed 5 passes a game for 37 yards isnt gonna win you a ball game. I dont see any reason why we couldnt get a guy like Derek Anderson(losing his starting job) over the offseason and just give up on the miserable JaMarcus Russel. Besides Derek Anderson as a backup is truely in my mind a HUGE waste. Hell i wouldnt even worry about our defences problems. The reason why their so bad and give up so many yards is because their on the field the WHOLE game cuz our offence is 3 and out everytime. The past two years the only people that have impressed me on this team are number one Justin Fargas, Zach Miller, Nnamdi A, Thomas Howard and McFadden. Well theres always "next year".
