Branch may have the capability to play free safety in the NFL. I was also impressed with Stevie Brown last year and saw a video on draft prospect Mana Sivla. I think Huff will likely walk in free agency and one thing I noticed about Mitchell is that he doesn't miss tackles very often. Branch also has a background in playing corner too so he may have good depth value to this team. I noticed towards the end of the season, that there was more Stevie Brown and Mike Mitchell and less Hiram Eugene. I think Michael Huff will likely walk in free agency and even if Al Davis has the cap space to re-sign either Huff or Asomugha, I think he'll go with Aso.

Money will play the roll with huff wheather he stays or goes. But i believe oakland has believed in him because of his improvement and he may just stay. Mitchell is where huff was a few years back, still in that learning process but he has more of a chance to go than m huff, "i think"! They probably believe more in stevie brown than mitchell!

I don't know Misterio because Cable wanted to cut Mitchell at the end of camp and Davis said no let Stevie Brown go; Had it been me Hiram Eugene would've been gone. However, Brown ended up back on the team in favor of OL Erik Pears and towards the end of the season we were seeing more of Brown and Mitchell and less of Eugene. Mitchell is more of a SS than any of the others on the team and doesn't miss that many tackles, so I'd say Mitchell is in line to start this year. I honestly think Hiram Eugene's seat will be hotter than Branch's. Huff is likely gone. Brown will turn into a steal for somebody if he doesn't make our team this year.

My mistake on mitchell. Branch is the one that has been critisized but i still feel huff should stay. Afew years back i could have let go of m huff and even h eugene but today? I don't know, im liking huffs strong plays, few mistakes yeah, one big two very small and i know that big play means a lot but not enough to let him go. Hiram eugene too has stepped it up but i would rather see him go at this point instead. But better yet, branch if that was the case. I wanted branch to stay because of his reputation to make big hits but he has not lived up to his rep. I think huff will stay. If he does go, i won't be upset cause it took him that long to come along but if he does stay, i hope he makes us all happy.( lol) check you out, you're probably saying, hell no, not me!(lol). I think he will stay, there was word that he could have been offered a contract had he not made over certain amount last year.
