I know Wilf said He will do everything He can to hang on to Tomlin. At this point I'd like to name him our head coach. We have let too many good coaches get away... Dunge, Billings, Linehan...

Dungy and Billick were great losses.

Man, I'd take Jerry Burns back now. Remember him, stooped-over on the sidelines, outdoors.....a frozen bugar hanging out of his nose?

i wish that we would fire childress and put tomlin in as head coach... then maybe, just maybe, our players would play well on both sides of the ball

one year as a coordinator doesn't make him a head coach. you want a coordinator as head coach? that's what we have now. Tomlin won't get hired as a head coach anywhere. too unproven. he was unproven to be the defensive coordinator last year. be a real reach to make him a head coach. an even bigger reach than childress. you could tell dungy would be great. give tomlin 3 years, then see.

the main reason that other teams want tomlin is because the way players respond to him... tomlin gets players to commit to his system... something other coaches have a hard time doing... BRAD CHILDRESS... Tomlin makes a good defense gell together... the man knows what he is doing... we had the 4th rated defense in the league...#1 in 3 in outs,#1 in rush defense,#4 in touchdowns allowed... yards dont matter... points do... we had 30 turnovers, and 19 touchdowns scored against us... you do the math genius...
