maybe they need some'meditation' instead of mediation...to think about how freakin lucky the whole blasted lot are, and that it is the fans who are getting the royal root. as i see it...there are 3 problems with this fiasco...1/ greed...2/greed...3/ lawyers...which equates to greed and manipulation. lastly...one judge ruling in favor of the players and another overturning that in favour of the owners...wow...like i never saw that coming. ya gotta love a system ( here in Canada as well); where if you don't like the ruling...just take it somewhere else until you get one in you do like...awwwww the aroma of money...GO VIKES!!!

Do I understand correctly that the main dispute between the owners & the players is a big chunk of money that they can't agree on what to deal with??? Why don't they split it up between the NFL fans who peed away thousands of dollars on airfare, gas, tickets, motel rooms, food, etc.,...To go to the Super Bowl,...Only to find out that after spending all that money, they don't have seats??? Simple math,...Take the lump sum of money involved, then divide it by the total amount of tickets purchased, but not honored.
These people supported their favorite team throughout the season and beyond. It's only fitting that they get reimbursed for the screwing they got in Texas!

First of all, they should of had Bill Clinton mediate the talks because he grew up in the South (where football is like a religion) and he knows a lot about astroturf (if you know what I mean). LOL. They're better be a settlement or else we'll be watching women's curling on Thanksgiving instead of Packers vs Lions and Dolphins vs Cowboys. I'll be here all week, try the lasagna, GOOD NIGHT NEW JERSEY!!!!!!

I would rather see the NFL just give it directly to retired players. There are soo many guys who are now struggling with health issue that didn't get paid anything close to what players make now. They are the players that kept the NFL relevant and attracted fans throughout the years. Many of them didn't make much more than the average government employee. I say give the money to the "old school" retired players.
That, and you know they wont give it to the fans :)
