You know, there seems to be a problem with paying these athletes millions of dollars to just go out and make a mistake. I am sure that there are PLENTY of athletes that would play football for alot less money that would have no problem keeping their lives in check. If I were Mr Young, I wouldn't be praying to GOD about the punishment from the NFL. I would be praying to GOD to help me with the real problem, that being Mr Young. I believe everybody said Pacman just made a mistake and look where that led.

I agree with you Mike B. They are already getting paid millions to do what they love to do anyway. Why not enjoy being able to go to work everybody getting filthy rich off of what you've always dreamed of doing?? I think they sometimes think they are above the law because they can score a few touchdowns or something. It makes me mad...I'm stuck in an office getting paid little or nothing, but if I punch somebody I can't just pray about it...I'm going to get charged with assault. End of story...

It's time - in fact, way past time - for the Titans to cut their losses on Young. Trade him, cut him, do something for the future - Vince Young is not it!

This story should have never made the news..had it been an average Joe, it would not have made the back page, much less the front.

Vince Young has no excuse for behaving like this! He cannot use "I made a mistake by going to the strip club" to take the public's focus off of "his immature behavior. It's not where he was, but "how" he was. Vince Young along with other multi-million dollar athletes have every incentive to keep their person in check. This is ridiculous! The Tennessee Titans seem to be nothing but criminals. This whole VY thing is crazy; he went off on somebody for making a hand signal....how childish! It makes me mad when his team-mate said "Well, this is a hard life." Giving stupid excuses for VY's behavior. They get paid entirely too much already and all they have to do is play football! It's no harder than anybody elses job, and actually considering their money....NFL is much easier. Vy, Pac Man Jones, and all the other criminal prone players are definitely not good role models for kids.

DDH of Nashville, "aderage Joes" don't get paid millions of dollars to play football either. VY should respect the game, his team mates, coaches, fans and the state of Tennessee. Keep your freakin nose clean and out of trouble VY! Don't put a bad light on Tennessee. If he can't do that then get him out of here!

Playing football is really not what they love doing anymore. It's making money, doing want they want, and getting off because they have money. They can care less about the games itself; most of them at least. Once they get their hands on that money, it's all about drugs and women. What's with the Titans players getting into trouble all of the time anyway?

Instead of spending money in the strip club Vince should be at the dentist getting his teeth fixed. All the money he has to spend he can have his own private strip club action at own place. Why go and act stupid in a public place of business where people try to get you in trouble and ruin your image.

sad he has to go to strip clubs to begin with. These young men grew up poor then hit it big with playing sports. they get paid $millions to play ball. Most of them have NO ideal how to use their money wisely. They end up in trouble for being jerks.

Now VY has put himself into the league with Pacman and so many other players. Look at Steve M. Had to have young women, drinking and so many do some form of drugs.Look where Steve is at now.

So often they start thinking they can buy their way out of trouble and then they let the money take over their life and it goes to their head

I was listening to his so called apology on the radio and as one poster stated he should go to the dentist, he needs to learn how to speak. As the golden boy stated he was talked into it and he is letting his legal team handle it. His so called apology was pathetic. He made it sound as he did no wrong and he was provoked. As vince said the guy flashed the longhorg sign upside down and that made him mad. Grow up vince. He said it was a sign of disrespect. I have said he isn't that good and it was a mistake the Titans drafted him. Just my opinion. Just wait until he has another bad day on the field he will go to the sidelines and pout

The really BIG "Shame" here is this athlete is considered a role model for our American Youth.....
they look up to such men wanting to some day be "Professional" something as they are now, only to have this tarnishment now against yet another.
Isn't it a shame the athletes just do not "Get It" nor do the coaches that train them.
In my opinion stiffer punishments and penalties should be enforced for any player of any sport who cannot conduct himself or herself any better than this!
Remember YOU are in the public eye on the field & off 24-7 my friend.

When are the Titans going to look for a quailty player to be the Q.B. Packman Young is not it. Cry baby when people boo him and quits. Now strip club figth over college ribbing.
He is not the right person to represent Tennessee----Cut the losses and get on w/ finding the right player

I agree with everything you said. He is not a leader and he has shown in the past and present he is not a leader. The only reason he is with the titans is Bud Adams. Getting into a fight over a silly hand jesture. How old is this mama's boy? As long as he is the quarterback for the titans they will not go to a superbowl. If they do and lose he will sit on the sidelines crying and then go get in his vehicle and drive off like he did when he was booed. In the interview it wasn't his fault, he was talked into it. Now that is not what a leader is made of, they make there choice and normally make a wise choice and not a childish one.

It's all about Education..... yes, these guys are players of a "Fine" team but, they certainly need to be educated in disciple and learn the do's & don't of in public speaking.
As I said in my post earlier.....
Remember YOU are in the public eye on the field & off the field... 24-7, please remember YOU are a "Role Model" to our youth and our team.

Act accordingly!
