What else COULD they do? He was like an expensive Edsel that always broke down. Now there's more cap room, and they have alot of money to spend for some REAL players. Maybe get like Pennington for a #2 QB, and go after Berrian and a decent DE or two.

Cap room? Most teams have more invested in their third string QB than the Vikings do in their entire quarterback corps. The sad truth is that egomaniac Childress doesn't want a quality back up because the pressure to replace Jackson would be intense and immediate. Pennington has been hurt as much as any QB in the league and Berrian is average at best. The Vikings have plenty of cap room but free agency is filled with nothing but garbage. Leadership of this organization from the owner to the coach to the starting QB is the worst in the NFL.

So are you suggesting that if they fire Childress, the free agency market will not be garbage? How is it leaderships fault that there aren't a lot of great free agents to choose from?

I think Childress has done pretty good so far, considering. Peterson may be making him look better than he is, but you can't deny that the team improved this year over last year. A couple dropped TD passes, a fumble on the pylon, a missed field goal. Honestly, we easily could have been 11-5 with a little more luck.

What was Kelly Holcomb's complete pay in 2007?
Thanks

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Leo

You're really on the ball today so there's no danger of anyone tricking you or fobbing you off with lame excuses. If you suspect that a loved one is hiding something from you, you'll want to question them in a lot of detail. That's all very well but try not to turn it into the third degree, nor to make them feel hounded or bullied by your desire to know what's going on.
