Maybe Jackson can't play, but I think he improved during the season.

"He doesn't have that intangible leadership skill that you see in the Super Bowl winners."

Did anyone believe Eli Manning had it until the clock hit 0:00 in teh Super Bowl?

Tennesseebob hit it right on the head!

I live in the NY area and I listen to sports talk everyday. Eli was getting killed by Giants fans all season. Dozens of fans would call in daily about how the Giants would never win the SB with Eli.

Will have to wait and see with TJack but fans can be such no it alls!

TJ will never last the season as the starter either through injury or benching. He is not an NFL QB-it is a shame we do not have a head coach intelligent enough to see that. AP will get stuffed again this year-8 in the box no passing game again

"That makes me want to go work out, right there" Jackson said....what a novel concept TJack....working out in the offseason.....this Pro Football stuff is a little intense....oh well, I'll just jump up in the air....chuck it...& hope someone with my color jersey catches it. Now that Troy Scissorhands is gone, my odds just increased slightly.

I also hated seeing Peterson returning kicks...but when we need a spark who gave it to us?! hmmm hard one there? not arguing with your logic just putting in some of my own! hicks would be a great signing to return for us he is a powerhouse and a specialist if i do say so myself...but if we don't get him we'll have to address the issue in the draft or assign one of the 4th or 5th wide receivers to do it for us hmm?

I dis agree strongly with your point of interest, i believe he will last through the season as a starter because of his trust in his teammates now that he has a trustworthy bunch of guys to rely on, the super bowl isn't one guy throwing and catching and running, the last time i checked there was more than just one guy on any one of the teams that won or lost the superbowl?! Or any game for that matter?!?!?!?

Not even Moss or Jerry Rice in his prime can help the Vikings if all TJack will do is miss his targets by 5 yards or more with every other throw. Vikings must add a QB through draft or free agency who has potential to hit his target on at least 6 out of every 10 passing attempts. So far, TJack hasn't been able to achieve that.

I for one have faith in Jackson. I have not always, but one can not deny the man has a strong, strong arm. He just has a few decesion making and other slight bugs to weed out. Not to mention not much to throw at. Hopefully he continues to improve.

T jack should be given one more season but i really like this colt brennan kid as a 3rd stringer and we need to add a veteran presence to help TJ figure out defenses.I think the vikings are only one more solid WR away from being a playoff team for years to come.Imagine berian, rice, and another solid WR(like fitzgerald hopefully)or a rookie to help T jack or brennan because i think if T jack doesn't work out brennan is the next best idea for an up and coming QB and can actually guarantee in 5 years if he is given a shot to play for a team he will be one of the top 5 QB's in the league. say what you want about that but it is what i firmly believe.

Some people are dumb it was his first year as a starter and he didnt have that good of a wr core and with berrian here and a healthy rice and who ever else we bring in he will do fine. also i think they should bring in the freak and a draft a young de so he can learn from him.Go Vikings!

jackson should get better i give him the benefit of the doubt for last year this year he should improve the right side o-line needs to do a better job of pass protection i'm surprised they haven't mentioned an upgrade at the right side of the line. Jackson got swarmed on almost every play
