Now that Jason Taylor has said his days in Miami are over the Vikes should look into what it would take to bring him here. He's got some good football left in him.

Anyone interested in Moss and Culpepper coming back as a "package deal" as ESPN is reporting? Think about it...

Moss will not come back to the Vikes - his pride demands a big payday after a good year, but he wants to stay with Brady, who can guarantee him a 1000 yard season.
It would be nice if we could get a good kick returner. It sure would be radically different to start an offensive drive on someplace OTHER than our own 20. AD is too valuable to be returning kicks.

"Stay Hungry" I'd be happy if he would just stay "concious and healthy" all season long. The boy is injury prone.

Tuna said today that unless Jason Taylor retires he'll be playing in Miami next year. But I agree he'd have been a good guy to add. For that matter so would Moss. But signing Culpepper isn't going to happen. For one his career is as good as over and for two, he and Childress are no fans of each other.

Culpepper is a great QB and is far from done! He is now realizing (hopefully) that he isn't a mobile quarterback anymore and needs to stand in there and trust his line! so i don't think that minnesota even if we wanted him back would be a good fit for him as our line is meant for run support and not for the pass blocking that it should be! As far as Tavaris is concerned he is my guy and i will stand behind him through thick and thin! which hopefully with the addition of a deep threat that "can" catch a football will be great! On the other side of the ball we do need a legitament pass rusher so we can stop blitzing with corners and linebackers all the time to create pressure!!! GO VIKINGS!!!

Jason Taylor would a great fit for the Vikings but, I think he would rather stay in Miami to finish his career. Javon Kearse, would be the ideal pick to play for the Vikes because he is a former Eagle and his career isn;t far from over. We need that pass rush the Vikes haven't had since Chris Doleman.

Has everyone lost their minds here?!? T-jack needs to keep his mouth shut. Even with the addition of Berrian this team WON'T matter in the passing game as long as T-Jack is the QB. I don't care if you had 4 Randy Mosses this passing game would still fail with T-Jack, he's that bad! Were only one QB and DE away from the superbowl, or window is closing soon. Until Childress figures that out it will be another wasted oppertunity like the twins of mid 2000's.

I agree with the guy on post 12. T-Jack has the potential to be a solid quarterback, but I don't see him hitting the level to lead a team to the Super Bowl. He doesn't have that intangible leadership skill that you see in the Super Bowl winners. The Vikes have invested very well in a decent team, but I think a mid grade experienced quarterback might be the missing piece.

Culpepper would be an upgrade at backup over Brooks, and if Moss is out there for the taking, I would make that deal in a minute. Imagine AP, Moss, Berian, and Rice. With T-Jack at QB and Dante backing him up if he can't get the job done. It seems like a no-brainer, and with the Vikes Defense, it would make us an immediate favorite for the Superbowl.

Adding a pass rusing specialist like Kearse, ala Charles Haley, would seal the deal!!!

Until Jackson can throw a 15 yard pass accurately to a receiver consistently, the Vikings brass should not stop looking for a starting QB. Enough said.

The reason Moss did so well coming out (besides his talent) was that he was part of "3 Deep" and could not be doubled. Also Robert Smith was always a threat to go 30+ yards at any time. So lets get another receiver in the middle rounds and see what gives. I believe TJack will continue to improve and quiet you doubters.

Not alot of talk about Heath Farwell, it would seem to be a good idea to bring him back, although I like the thought of brining Hicks in, I hate seeing Peterson returning kicks and I was not aware Hicks was such a good tackler on Special teams. Also alot has recently been said about brining in Jabar Gaffney for a look, am I alone in thinking that Robert Ferguson did a pretty good job last year. Not only was he a solid blocker in the running game, but with the addition of Berrian, the emergence of Rice, and the slot filled by Wade, Ferguson would seem content if designated 4 or 5 on the WR depth chart.

But those people are the same people who will be saying good things if I have a great career." What an idiot, get rid of him.
