I agree with "hoohiki" and "thank jj" in that they acknowledge some of June Jones strengths. His acumen, his eye for talent & some of his football connections were significant. People like to slam Jones, but they conveniently forget what he did for the program & only like to remember the bitterness about his leaving. He led us to 10 great years, an unbeaten season & a trip to the Sugar Bowl that was bittersweet. His leaving was a blessing in disguise because he took us as far as he could. Coach Mack is capable of taking us back to the promised land in that he's much more disciplined & I really feel he's got the right coaches in place with the exception of George Lumpkin. If we are privileged enough to get back to a BCS Bowl, people won't have to be worried about another debacle--the team will be much more disciplined & focused than the one that went to the Sugar Bowl. I'm sure of it. I know we'll do at least well enough to get to the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. I wish we could get a re-match with Notre Dame--this year, we'd kick their okoles!!
