Minnesota Vikings' Artis Hicks to have surgery on triceps muscle

Minnesota Vikings right tackle Artis Hicks said today he would have surgery to repair his partially torn triceps muscle, which kept him out of the starting lineup the past four games of the season.

So many die hard viking fans that I talk to all agree on one things. Childress needs to go. This team has too much talent not to go much deeper into the playoffs. Game after game we were all very dissapointed with the play calling of Childress and Bevell. Boring, predictable, conservative, easy to defense, and playing afraid. The defense was always aggressive and good things almost always happened. Childress plays afraid and is gutless to take chances. On the rare occasions that he did, good things happened. Please, please, please Mr. Wilf let Brad go. Thanks for a good season Viking players. It was not your fault.
