I can see all of you great backyard QB's are at it again...Fact...Moss's productivity in Tenn went south because they did not have a QB that could get him the ball...anyone that saw Favre's 500th TD pass caught by Moss knows Randy's far from washed...put him out there with Rice, Harvin, Peterson, Shinko...and a QB that can get them the ball the Vikes offence would be unstoppable...of course you need to get a couple lineman first or its a moot point...
don't bother these people still believe Favre was the main reason the vikings had a bad season and drunkly wanted T-Joke in and then believed ESPN that Moss being vut was good and etc.

SO was Vincent Jackson a better choice, yes but the team got Moss and he is still a great player, who occasionaly runs his mouth

We are all adults, maybe not some of the packer fans here, we can tolerate his talks so what bad chili who cares

I really hate it when a team declares themselves a run team or a pass team. I believe you become what your teams talent becomes. Since we had Peterson and not a proven QB, Frazier identified us as a "run" team, but we also don't have an O-Line to dominate at the line of scrimmage. I say let the best players available via the draft or free agency determine who you are. To me it does not matter if you make yourself a dominate run or pass offense or a dominate defense, as long as you win.
fair enough, but here is a good point run or pass first don't all good teams at least have all of these:

-GOOD o-line
-Above average HB (starks is decent so exception)
-at least one good WR
-Very Good QB (exception Trent Difler)
-top 5 defense in run or pass and top 10 for other

if the o-line plays bad the whole team plays bad

this and the secondary would be my greatest concern, as for Webb I say go for it

It all starts up front. A good O-Line/D-Line is absolutely necessary, you can compensate for others if they can dominate. You either need a very good QB or one that can manage the game and make the occasional play. Webb would get exploited if teams have a chance to game plan for him, too raw yet, add a veteran and insert Webb into the game occasionally.
