It's time to end the selfishness of the Two sides & sit down at the table & settle this once & for all We Fans Dont want to see teams that shouldnt be on a field because they didnt get to practice I for one think they will look no better then the scabs of 1982 without practice. LEt's get on with the Game & give the players a chance to practice before throwing them out on a field to play. The Owners & the players have all said Both sides wants Football this year Then maybe we are being lied to. Go Vikings

I agree that we need to get this resolved.

I'm just curious if we want to put a lot of effort (and money) into retaining Sidney Rice? Rice is an outstanding WR when healthy, but missed most of last season to injury. Can he stay healthy or is he gonna be injury prone?

your thoughts......

With his talent,id roll the dice, but,i guess you can factor in what WR will be FAs in the next few seasons and if there is a WR in college that you really like ( of course there's no 100% that you will draft him) but if there isn't a FA WR coming down the line that you covet, more reason to sign him

Rice has had only 1 good season and is injury prone. 6'4" & 202 lbs might tell ya something. Not fast enough to get behind a CB so everything he catches is contested. Expect more of the same if we resign him. I like his potential and I'd resign him....but at what price? I like Moss too, so what do I know?

My take..........and what do I know........lol.........he opted for surgery to prolong his career in this league. He wanted to play last year and decided at the last minute that he would not be productive without it, not to mention shorten his career in a league that where you are 1 hit away from being in a casket..........guy made the right choice despite all the critics.IMO.......He thrived in the RZ WITH BF running the show........if Ponder is the QB expect the same production from Rice..........Spread Offense with Harvin the slot should make Rice's lack of speed be a non-issue..........Rice is a keeper.
