T.O. can burn in h e l l! The guy is a cancer wherever he goes. The cry baby types in this city couldn't even handle Randy Moss! And what did he do? Have a run in with a power-hungry meter maid and squirted an official with a water bottle. Oh my Lord!! That was enough to have him run out of town by the media and every dope that listens to our media! Could you imagine T.O. here?!? He wouldn't even make it a day without people calling for his head! And that is fine with me, I can't stand T.O.!

...he asked the HILLBILLY'S coach, how many times their QB was sacked and came to the conclusion that he had good pass protection...T.O. is now a BUFFALO HILLBILLY (one year 6.5 million gits and jowels): yeeeehhhhaaaaawwww!!!

If someone out there has some insight as to what the situation with Tory Holt is please clue us in.
I understand he "may be released" by the Rams but I've heard nothing beyond that. A trade would ensure he would be a Viking, but what would we have to give up? I'd rather have Holt than Owens.
I'd like the Pioneer Press to do a detailed analysis
of the CB's who are out there (McCallister, Bly etc...) what it would take to sign them, how much gas do they have left in the tank, injury concerns,
and do the same thing for OT's (Runyan, Thomas, Tauscher). Seems to me if we signed a CB and an OT we would have a lot more flexibility going into the draft.
Holt has asked for his release from the Rams and since he is due a roster bonus on March 17, he will likely be traded or released before then. Because of this situation, the Rams don't have much leverage for a trade so you could probably get him for a 7th round pick. My guess is that interested teams (hopefully including the Vikings) won't make an offer for him and will just wait until he is released.

they need to get rid of childress because he seems to not care if he wins or loses
and go after bill coward and the others that are available .childress is not a leader so why does he try .now he lets m/birk go another of childress mistakes .

cmon people, do your homework. TO is always quiet in his inaugural season with a team. So, he would probably keep in check the first year. He would have made an awesome compliment to Berrian & friends. I think it was stupid not to offer a 1 year deal to the guy. I know he had his run in with childress, but the guy can friggen PLAY! My question to the vikings management is: DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU'RE ON THE CUSP OF THE SUPERBOWL RIGHT NOW?!?!?!?!?. All they need is to shore up the offense. Would TO not have helped to do that?

I am writing this after TO signed with the Bills, but it's a good thing the Vikes never considered him. He is a waste, his antics are tired and worn out. He would be just for the circus show and not a forward football move.

Why would the Vikes be in the market for T.O. when they have Super Sage Rosenfels!!!!

$9M....roflmao!

Well, you get what you paid for!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!

“In 2008, Rosenfels started in the Texans' home opener against the Indianapolis Colts. Although Rosenfels had led the team to a 27–10 lead with 8:18 remaining, Indianapolis scored a touchdown to make the score 27–17 with 4:04 left. In that span, Rosenfels turned the ball over three times: the first two turnovers, both fumbles, both led to Indianapolis touchdowns, putting the Colts ahead 31–27; the third, an interception, sealed the Texans loss.

Due to Matt Schaub's knee injury mid-way through the 2008 season, Rosenfels was made starting QB in his place, although started badly, throwing 4 interceptions and only 1 touchdown in a loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

After blowing an almost insurmountable lead the first time the Texans played the Colts in 2008, Rosenfels once again fell short in his bid to beat Indianapolis after throwing a game ending interception while trying to lead the Texans to victory.”

We miss him already!!!!!!!!!! Haaaaaaahahahaha!

He will fit right in with the letdown vikings. Anyway, the guy is young. Hopefully he learned from those mistakes. Also, where was your defense? The D let manning cruise to the victory. That was a tough game to watch (at the end). I was pulling for the Texans and you could just see that Rosenfels was trying to hard to win. I did like the helicopter smackdown where he fumbled the ball away in mid air. Ouch!

Been in the league 7 seasons and still has not learned a thing...get a clue.

My bad. Should have used the term 'inexperienced'. He has only started 12 games in his career. 5 of those came last year. He was 2-3 last year as a starter. Those 3 losses were against playoff teams. Indy twice and Baltimore. The Texans got smoked by baltimore, but could/should have beat Indy twice. The other game he played in was against Minnesota, which he had an above average QB rating. Also, I think they were in a position to tie/win the sota game. After the initial meltdown against Indy, I think Rosie settled down with the fumbling. Won his last 2 games, but should have (browns, jags). Not sure if it was due to the houston D, but the texans were giving up a lot of points last season. Especially when the opposing team got in the red zone...

In his three seasons with the Texans, Rosenfels went 6-4 as a starter. Will fit right in as a Viqueen. The D did give up ALOT because they suck and Sage was turning the ball over to his opponents 20-20 yards from them scoring.

Not to worry, You will be fooled in the pre season when he plays against 3rd and 4th string bench warmers...then here comes the regular season!!! Atleast you get to play the now defunct Packers, 0-16 Lions and thew who knows who will show up to play Bears!! LMAO!

But those teams are not in the playoffs. Like last season.

He blows.

Don't even bother trying to have an intelligent conversation with the moron from Houston.
He's a troll with nothing constructive to add other than his drivel about Rosenfels.
All I can think is that Rosenfels must have turned down his sexual advances at one time and he's hated him ever since.

So what you are saying is he would have fitted right in as a Vike.
