Jeez, pro athletes are a sickly lot. I consider myself to be held together, metphorically, with duct tape and baling wire, but I have never had as many food poisonings, stomach flus, viruses, etc., as pro athletes supposedly have. Now, I'm not questioning Mr. Herrera. His situation just brought the issue to the fore in my mind. Just wondering.. .

They also play out in the weather alot more than you probably do. I'm assuming there's more germs out there for them to pick up.

Outside? Germs? Outside is where it's healthy. But, enough. It was just an idle thought. I didn't think it was going to bring out an apologist to berate me.

Receivers can get open, hmmmmmmmm. Yeah that sounds about right........
Pro football players are on the road all the time eating in a variety of places and coming in contact with many more poeple that the average person. They have much more opportunity to encounter bad bugs. |
