Buffalo weak? They almost beat Pittsburgh today and have played well enough to be in many games this season against some pretty good teams even if the won-lost record doesn't show it. The Vikes had better not be overconfident, especially if Adrian Peterson is out for the next game.

Finally, after rambling on and on, we get a touchdown. No, I'm not talking about Favre. I'm talking about this writer who finally finished with the most logical comment he made:

"McNabb isn't the guy."

The writer then made his point: "Heck, Favre rushed for two more yards than he (McNabb) did."

Yes indeed. No indeed. We do not need McNabb. If nothing else (like a 3rd rounder - oops, scratch that, we got to sniff Randy's jock strap for our 3rd rounder (thanks again for that parting gift, Bradley), we need to start from point A and get a qb we can develop. No, not TJack. He's overdone. Send him to the next team of overdone players. Anyway, loved the game, loved the HOFer's effort and go Vikes.

This sucks.

This team has no QB on the roster next year after Joe Webb, considered a project at best. By winning today, they move another step out of range for one of the top 3 prosepcts in the next draft (Luck/Mallet/Locker).

After those QB's, the list drops way down. Just give the snaps to Webb so they know what they need from the draft.

Hey .. it says Brett Favre pulls, of all things, a game-saving run out of his bag of tricks ... was that before or after he pulled a marriage jepordizing d!ck out of his real, comfortable wranglers?
-Packers 7-4
vs. 49ers Toss Up but more than likely win 8-4 possible 7-5
at Lions probable win 9-4, possible 8-5, 7-6
at Patriots probable loss 9-5 possible 8-6, 7-7
vs. Giants toss up probable 9-6/10-5 possible 8-7, 7-8
vs. Bears toss up more than likely win 10-6/11-5 possible 8-8, 7-9

-more than likely Packers win NFC north at 10-6 or 11-5

-Bears 8-3
at Lions (revenge of the Lions?) probably not 9-3, possible 8-4
vs. Patriots probable loss 9-4, possible 10-3, 8-5
at Vikes probable loss 9-5, possible 10-4, 8-6, 9-5
vs. Jets probable loss 9-6, possible 11-4, 9-6, 10-5, 8-7
at Packers toss up 9-7/10-6, possible 12-4, 11-5, 8-8, 7-9

-Bears come in second at 9-7/10-6 wild card Saints take one and the other one is from the NFC east possibly
-playoffs for Bears this year are a toss up but they cant lose to the Vikes and at least one of the AFC east Jets or Patriots for a realistic shot

-Vikings 4-7
vs. Bill probable win 5-7
vs. Giants probable win 6-7 possible 5-8, 4-9
vs. Bears probable win 7-7 possible 5-9, 4-10, 6-8
at Eagles probable loss 7-8, possible 8-7, 5-10, 4-11, 6-9
at Lions probable win 8-8, possible 7-9, 5-11, 4-12, 6-10

-Vikes 8-8 possible beat Bears to 2nd place if the Bears collapse Possible but the Vikes need to take care of bussiness it is very likely they may finish even 7-9 or 6-10
-wild card possible even with 8-8 and Bear collapse Frazier gets the Head Coach job though Lovie Smith may have issues

However the Saints will get one Wild card but the Giants well lets see

-Giants 7-4
vs. Redskins (redskins are in disarray) 8-4, possible 7-5
at Minnesota probable loss 8-5, possible 7-6(if so nfc bears/vikes get wild card) 9-4
at Eagles probable loss 8-6 possible 7-7, 10-4, 9-5
at Green Bay toss up 8-7/9-6 possible 7-8, 10-5, 11-4
at Redskins depends on redskins play probable win 8-8/9-7 possible 7-9, 10-6, 11-5

I dont see the Giants sweeping the Redskins so 8-8/7-9, but the Eagles 7-4 have Texans, at Cowboys, at Giants, Vikings, Cowboys so the Eagles may come in only win one game but it is not a safe bet Giants dont make playoffs

so Favre may come to green bay and beat the pack man would you blow a gasket then!

“any questions?”

no McNabb...no...no...no...get Webb some playing time over the next number of games...see how the season plays out...if we fall in the draft order, so be it...address other needs (O line...and dump Madieu Williams)...i get the heaves everytime the ball is thrown his way...try and use a pick anyway to draft a QB...no guarantees even a qb taken early will pan out (Ryan Leaf)...lastly see who if anyone is available as a free agent...GO VIKES!!!

Number 1 forget about Joe Webb. They pay Favre a million bucks a game to bring the fans thru the turnstiles. Number 2 forget about the very washed up Mcnabb. Play out the rest of the year and take one game at a time with the hope that the o-line holds it together and that we suffer no serious injuries...Congrats to Frazier who i think will be the next head coach. This league is so mediocre that anything could happen in the next 4 weeks where the Vikes could still be alive for a playoff spot... Laugh if you want, but look around at the standings.

If Farvre would have run on the last play vs. New Orleans, we'd been in the Super Bowl. This team isn't going anywhere until they figure out the QB situation.

That play did look eerily similar to New Orleans, didn't it? Hard to believe, but his ankle is probably in better shape right now than it was in the waning minutes in N.O.

is an old timer who is overpaid and is most likely laughing all the way to the bank. He was not responsible for the winning the game. The whole team won the game. Favre will continue to play in order set several records: The most ganes played and most intreception thrown by a lousy quarterback,

He's DOWN WITH FRAZIER! HE'S DOWN WITH FRAZIER!

Don't miss the key clue Zygi gave that he's already decided to hire Frazier permanently, when he said in the lockerroom, "here's hoping there will be many more", or words to that effect, about wins... it reveals he's decided.

Brain dead, did you enjoy watching the NO RUNNING GAME (NO running back!) Pukers lose today? Ah, I see. And where do teams that are one-dimensional go in the post season?(hint) Answer: NO PLACE. OK? So the Bears will win the north, but the best teams - Falcons and Saints, with the Bucs right there, not to mention the Giants, then the Eagles are a few light-years better than the Pukers. So, brainless, the gloating must not be working so well today, though it clearly didn't stop you from coming into this web environment to advertise your virtuous stupidity, did it?(answer = NO;-) The season ends right now, the Pukers go home - btw..........

Vikings win a few more and we have to go through the Favre off season comeback or retire all over again.

He is the best option available for a veteran and he fills seats besides getting a rookie who is ready to play which we don't.

While we won't be SB contenders anymore, decent chance to make playoffs next year with third place schedule, disciplined Favre, healthy receivers and chilly gone!
