Good read. Probably spot on as to training camp before FA. My one disagreement is Berrian...he needs to go..NOW...and take Madeau Williams with him.

We find common ground on Berrian but he stays if Rice goes.

It's so tough to predict what this team will do. So much about it is new. I would hope the Vikes could win out over the gutless Bears and the luckless Lions- as for the Pack, they are deservedly the champs of last year, and thus are the true measuring stick. Beat them and people will notice.

WHY? To use up cap space? Trade or release Berrian and use that money for Rice. Viking Update reported today that Rice was ameniable to staying a Viking, but basically wants them to match market value, so he will test the market to see what his value is. I think he will be over-paid. Why keep Madeau Williams? So opposing QB's have an outlet for their passes?

Coach Leslie Frazier will try a new approach this year.
With the team gathered around him, he'll raise a leg in the air and rip a good loud fart before the team takes the field for game action.
Only veteran players will be allowed to pull his finger.

This was at the strong urging of Zigi Wilf.

I've seen the list of opponents.

5-11, thats it.

Maybe we can build a line and groom a QB.

Oh, and weed out all non-hackers unfit to serve in our beloved Purple Corp.

I wonder just how many opponents looked at their 2010 schedule, saw MN Vikings and chalked that down as a loss. While I agree that non-performers must go, we still have a decent group...just a few changes and who knows? While not winning the division, I think 5-11 is too low. Surely we can at least match 6-10 of last year. But with Williams serving a 4 game suspension, some people better play like they mean it.

I gave us a split with detroit and a win against arizona. We could lose both games depending of the quarterbacks on detroit and arizona.

We will have between 3 and 5 wins.

The prize can't miss Andrew Luck in in the 2012 draft.

Which is why Ponder starts from day 1. We need to see what Ponder can do.

9-7 wild card. Should of been 11-5 but had the refs ruin 2 wins.
