The Philly news showed Brian Dawkins with his family and alot of luggage in Denver last night. He's done with Philly. He knows that as long as Reid and McNabb are here the Eagles will never win a Super Bowl. They might get close, but they'll never do it. He was the overall team leader and the heart of this team. His rapid departure as soon as free agency began tells you that he has no interest in remaining a Philadelphia Eagle. He and the other players who rapidly departed no longer believe in the current Eagles regime. Who will step up and become the new leader and heart of this team??? Definitely not McNabb. Westbrook??? No. Probably none of the remaining players will step up. Teams with no leadership and no heart fail. Maybe they'll get a leader thru free agency or the draft. Maybe not.

1 need has been filled, now they need the other major 2 (RB and WR) actually now 3 since D-Dawk is gone.

McNabb isn't the problem. Management is terrible and will continue to be the problems. Banner and Reid need to go bye bye. Address your needs. Instead they let what worked for them last year leave, but still fail to replace the big issues. If McNabb goes then the season may as well be written off for this year.

Even tho they had a so-so year in 2008, the Eagles went as far as they did in spite of the coaching. I honestly think the coaching failed them last year. Watch some of the games they won... they won because of the passion & play of key players. When they lost, it was because the coaches on the sidelines looked shell-shocked and confused.

I think that despite B-Dawk leaving, the Eagles will be fine on D. I'm still holding my breath for a punishing RB and a go to WR. I'm sure I'll be blue before it happens though.

I'm by far not an Eagles fan but the smartest move I think they could make is going after Marvin Harrison.

Boldin and Derrick Ward would be nice. They are about 48 million under the cap number. They can get an A-list free agent or two. Of course we will most likely end up with some B-listers as always

Every year Eagle fans whine and moan about Banner and Reid and every year they put a winner on the field. Never good enough to win a Super Bowl, but it sure beats the snot out of the previous 40 years of futility.

Getting Harrison would not be a smart move going by film footage EPSN showed last week of his play in recent years. Film doesn't lie, he's afraid to get hit, he won't put himself out there to hit anybody, and several balls seem to go off of his fingertips. He's lost it. He was great once, but he's not anymore.
