Delhomme, Panthers stun Chargers as time expires

Full story: The Associated Press

Jake Delhomme came back with a jolt that the San Diego Chargers won't soon forget. Delhomme threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to tight end Dante Rosario as time expired to lift the Carolina Panthers to a shocking 26-24 win over the Chargers on Sunday. It was a heart-stopping capper to a game that swung wildly with a big defensive play by each team in the second half. After Philip Rivers rallied San Diego with his third TD pass of the game, Delhomme moved the Panthers to the San Diego 14-yard line with 2 seconds left before calling his final timeout.

Wow! That is what I am talking about. Why did you abandon the running game so early? Overall, kudos for this Panthers team with endless possibilites.

spoken like a true raiders fan... still bitter because norval couldn't accomplish anything with a SHITTY team in jokeland. oh and last nights game: at least the bolts lost to a quality opponent...

gotta give credit to the panthers team good win.

it's no biggy, my chargers will now be 15-1 this season.

I do not think this Charger's team will be 15-1 this year. Too many questions needed to be answered. Your pass defense is in question? You are missing Merriman at 100 percent huh? Maybe next year you will contend for the the title.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
