No kidding there are people who committed far worse crimes that received less punishment. He only got what he got because he was famous. I say let him play, he is fun to watch.

Definitely true. Vick was wrong in what he did but he was used as a poster child. They wanted to let everyone know that you would be prosecuted for dog fighting actions. I believe he does have the right to redeem himself.

Any player convicted of a felony shouldn't be playing, but then there wouldn't be much of a league, now would there?

He lost that right when he LIED about what he had done. We're talking about FELON vick here, noone else. You wanna talk about them, go ahead, article about him...may have trouble there huh figuring that out I guess. The guy is scum. His supporters are, well figure it out. Hope you hold the "guy" up as a role model for your kids! hehe You do don't you since he's so terrific. How about brother "stomper"? Like him to I bet.

I don't watch football for that very reason! Perhaps you do, I prefer to support the better causes in life and don't consider this sport to be one of them. Sorry dude! The role models for my kids will be good citizens, not thugs. We all have choices to make in life though don't we?

I agree that we should not hold pro athletes up as role models. Same goes for actors/actresses. I went to school with an African American from Vick's childhood neighborhood who went to Princeton. Another became a physician. Those are role models. Vick's cousin Aaron Brooks came from the same neighborhood and is using his $ from football to improve the neighborhood.

Convicted felons should not be allowed to participate in any professional sport. Hence the word "Professional"....be ing a thug is not a profession.

You people who feel that Mr.Vick does not deserve a chance to continue his life with the GOD given talent that he has,are so idiotic that you wreak. He has served his time for his crime. He lied , he got caught in his lie, he served his time, he's lost millions upon millions of dollars. So what more do you think he should do. I think I clearly understand that those of you who feel he should not be able to continue his life doing what he truly does best you'd actually rather see him back fighting dogs, selling and smoking dope, and anything else negative just so you can sit on your jacked up pedestal and say "I told you so, Mike Vick is just another black man with a bunch of money" you people really need a gut check!!!

Let's start with the first question.. What more do I think he should do? Well that's really up to him to express his remorse isn't it? Which leads me to the one of the longest sentences I've ever read... I don't think you understand me as evident by your run on & on sentence. What I don't think he should be doing is playing professional ball anymore. It has nothing to do with him being black, a gifted quarterback. or rich. It has everything to do with the fact that he is a convicted felon. I don't want to see convicted felons play ball. If he wants to be rich again, let him make his millions another way. I don't object to him getting a job, just playing ball.

I have been a loyal Vikings fan for 42 years. If they sign that "thug" I'll be looking for a new team to support. Vick needs to spend the rest of his days volunteering at an animal shelter.

if you have been a loyal fan for 42 years, you dont just switch teams because they take a chance on a player. if you been a fan for 42 years, then it must of been like a marriage, you were married to one person the entire time and messing around on the side.
