Niners put QB Smith on injured reserve

When Alex was drafted, I thought it was a major mistake. He had shown nothing in college that would make me believe he was worth the #1 pick. Of course the NFL hierarchy doesn't much care what the fans think. Maybe if he can get away from Nolan he can be useful to somebody. It looks like Nolan is going to be the same kind of head coach his father was. Lousy.

Sorry for Alex, being drafted by the dreadfully managed 49ers. If he had time to develop in a good system like Aron Rogers experience with Green Bay, the results may have been different.
Lets hope he recovers, gets picked up by a good team and proves the naysayers wrong!
