This was going to be Raiders wide receiver Ronald Curry's career year. Leading the team in receptions the past two years didn't satisfy Curry.

He was good in Rich Gannon's offense, but these last two years, I've been saying to myself "It's time to try out somebody else." If you can put in a rookie in place of a vet like Curry and hardly tell a difference, then chances are the rookie will get better and hopefully improve your passing game.

whats up gentlemen, i like what has been going on with those situations. if you are the starter and you are not making the big plays then let someone else step in. not too many coaches can do that. and it is not always safe to take the starter out but, do what you gotta do! curry knows it! and so he says he will try harder but more for another team that might have interest in him. i say, so be it! GO RAIDERS!!!

Agreed. The Raiders need to find a way to improve Russell's 50 % completion rating. Eliminating WRs that drop balls is a step in the right direction.
