Yes I will be there watching again Sunday. Been a fan since 71 and I will take the abuse. Cause when these young guys do turn it around. I will be the one with a big smile. Mr. Davis stated at the begining of the year that he doesn't expect it to happen this year. But they should make a run in 2010. But after their preformance in week one. I thought we would be at least 2 & 2 but hoping more for 3 and 1. What happened to that energy from week 1. Enjoyed the conversion with you all.

Go Raiders!!!!!!!!!

The blame show go on the organization and nothing else! Jamarcus has had three different coaches three, the offensive line is horrible so how could Mcfadden ever live up to potential and all of these things failed to be addressed by the organization. The recievers are struggling with their routes did the organization bring in veteran help at the position to develop the rookies no! Did the organization do anything to help shore up the horrible defensive line which struggled against the run last year and only continues this year? Its easy to blame a young quarterback yeah real easy, but ask yourself this how did kerry Collins do as a Raider? How did Randy Moss do as a Raider? Where did Gruden win his Championship? yeah you probably see no it had nothing to do with them it was the organization for short Al Davis I ove you all but Dame I'm tired of the losing get with the program Call Bill Cohwer Right now and promise him whatever he wants even control!

Who would have thought number one pick Heyward-Bey has two catches so far this year ,he has more names than that.

Ripped from PTI. It was a good comment, when I heard it from Kornheiser. Get some original material!

I agree... Al Davis is going to have to die before I can return to being a Raider fan... unfortunately it is very difficult to kill the Undead! In the meantime... if you like a good train wreck, you can count on the Raiders to deliver one weekly...
When Gruden left, the soul of that team went with him. When have the Raiders ever been so soft?
please don't return!(LOL) you were never a RAIDER fan to begin with. you are better off a hater than a RAIDER.

Yea, you are an authority on how I think and feel. I should have asked you before I posted. I rooted for the Raiders when they won two Superbowls in the early 80's. I remember the glory days of Marcus Allen... used to watch him when he played for USC. Today's Raiders aren't even worthy to be the cheerleaders of the former Raiders. They are absolutely awful! I hope someday this organization will get turned around... Until then I just can't stand to watch them...

<quoted text>I felt it was one-sided. The Murphy catch was good and again the Raiders were victims of the video ref. Johnson's TD celebration was far less offensive than Texan's Jones punt return. Russell was hit in the head and the replay showed the ref staring right at the play. The Texans were using the illegal wedge play on returns. These were pointed out by the announcer Steve Tasker. I saw more than a couple holds and illegal contacts made on the receivers. Would it have made a difference in winning or losing the game? Probably not. However, I would like to see the Raider WRs ask for the flag when they are interfered with and Russell to ask for the flag with he receives a blow to the head. Other teams have players that show this awareness (and get the calls) and the Raider players should do the same.
I noticed that too...I didn't complain because I had Jacoby Jones on my fantasy team but I hated to see the Raiders lose.

Ray,
I share your pain week in and weekout I sit and watch every horrible minute. I do have one question. Is it me or did I see a one sided game concerning the ref's? Another catch that wasn't. Our QB and receivers taking shots to the head and no flags. And the flag for thanking God in the back of the endzone. Yeah I know your thinking another Raider fan complaining about the ref's. But take a good look at the game and see for yourself. When will this BS stop? Our guys are out there fighting just like the other team. I don't mind if they lose as long as it's a fair game. Anyway the Giants are next and I'm pretty sure we know how thats going to go. But I'll be sitting and watching every play.
The NFL has a major grudge against Al Davis. I'm still convinced that the tuck rule (or fuck rule for our sake) was invented on the spot because that year was the year 9-11 happened and it seemed the NFL wanted the Patriots to win as a sign of Patriotism for the NFL and America...There were some questionable calls in the superbowl that year too in favor of New England. If the Raiders of now were threats to kill like the Raiders of old, I don't think they would screw us like that as much.

I don't have a problem with the calls as long as they are called fairly on both sides. There is no way to have a "perfectly" called game...but it would be nice for it to be even. I watch other games and see the same sort of thing. Calls favoring one team not the other...so it's not just the Raiders. My question is....is it conspiracy to get the teams they(NFL) want to win to win? or is it purely the individual ref having a bias? or is it just more noticeable with certain teams....I would imagine there are arguments for each. The bottom line is if we were playing better ball the calls wouldn't likely be an issue. If we were connecting passes and running the ball we would be winning. I am frustrated with how the season is going...however, I think we have the tools...its just a matter of execution. <quoted text>
I don't know about conspiracy but I do think the NFL has their set of teams that they want to win. As far as our struggles go, as long as we have WRs that can't catch the football on a consistant basis, opponents will continue to play 9 in the box and stuff the run or get to the QB. I'll bet our defense could dominate opposing offenses by playing 9 in the box.

Translation...you are NOT a fan. You come off trying to be this high and mighty Raiders fan...truth be told you are nothing more than a fair weather fan. Try supporting the team. We have some talent and a lot of work ahead of us....but a fan certainly wouldn't turn it off until they start winning again. its punks like you that give fans a bad name...you are the definition of a fair weather fan. Due us all a favor and go support the Broncos....you seem to be their "type" of fan....Heck I even have more respect for a Chargers fan than I do you...they haven't won a dam thing and they are true to their team. Do Raider Nation a favor and go away. Then again, you probably don't even know what Raider Nation is.....I can assure you that Raider Nation wouldn't make a statement like "Until then I just can't stand to watch them... "

Ah yes the officious jackass who decides who is a true fan or not. Any raider fan with even a moderate amount of intelligence can deduce the raiders are on par with the lowest of the NFL. Of course simpletons like yourself think it to be a traitor to the nation if someone openly expresses this heinous view. When really you're only a sycophant without the intestinal fortitude to do the same.
