Seymour is the most critical FA. Sebass has come a long ways since his rookie year and I'd like to have him back. Gradkowski is hoping to be back and I'm sure he'll be back. I'm really on the fence about Kirk Morrison and Tom Howard because they are two of the hardest workers on the team and have consistantly been among the leading tacklers on the team. Problem is that most of the tackles are down field, not at the line of scrimage. Howard and Morrison are good at playing the pass, but we need to fix the run defense first and I saw improvement there when Trevor Scott moved to OLB and made some good tackles at the line. We need more disruptive forces from the LB position so I think Morrison and Howard should only be re-signed if they are willing to accept a reduced role if better LBs come along.

even if better (LB's) came along it would still take time for them to develop into the system right away. yeah morrison and howard are one small step off but i would keep them around. they still serve the purpose well enough.
