Demps still No. 1 at safety

Full story: The Morning Call

Because a full-time starter is unlikely to pull significant special teams duty, free safety Quintin Demps knows he's potentially the worst enemy of kickoff returner Quintin Demps.

I'd rather be a Birds fan than a Redskin or Raven fan.

If Demps wasn't ready, the Birds would never had let Dawkins go. This is a business and Dawkins lost a step, but will never be forgotten in Phila.

Obvioiusly you never played ball, or you would know that getting to the playoffs is no small task, let alone getting to the NFC championship game.

How many relatives fo you have who can say they had played in a NFC championship game??

Maybe you are the biggest all-time loser that Ian Anderson referred to in "Locomotive Breath".

Ever hear of Jethro Tull???

I love the Bird's draft and FA signings, but, the jury on Demps is still out for me. I never saw him play very much D until the NFC champ game. Hope he's ready. There's not much depth behind him.

We did what we normally do except for one time we actually went but lost....fall short of another Super Bowl. "Philly fluck" right and a top 4 doesnt really mean a whole lot when you dont get a Championship/Ring. That is why they play the game.

So true. Winning all those games and rolling through the playoffs only to come up short of a Championship is old. One Egale stat I can live without.
