I agree with the former players who attended fan fest, even at his current age he is a better quarterback than 90% of those currently playing, I think if he makes a hasty decision, it's one he might live to regret. You only get a chance to play in the NFL once.

Tell that to Rocky Bliar... not true at all. many a players have left, and came back..

Chris Carter - Minn. to Miami

Reggie White - GB to Carolina

Rocky Bliar - Pitt to Pitt after the war.

Just to name a few. The list goes on...

Okay...favre has said repeated times that he does not want to be like those guys who retire and come back or retire too late....BELIEVE ME I THINK YOU CAN COUNT ON IT THAT WHEN FAVRE RETIRES THEN HE WILL STAY RETIRED!!!

It's not about being Anti- Favre.. It's about seeing the facts, and being able to understand them. I have my beliefs, you have your's kid.. Stick to what you believe, and I'll do the same. But don't attack me any longer. I am tired of reading the threads to find out you have initiated yet another arguement between you and I. Grow up, and get off your high horse. This won't be healthy for either one of us if we continue. That's a promise. ;)

Yes... I believe you are. And you might be a tad bit too cocky for your own good. Wishy washy facts? Brett stated that shit out of his own mouth man.. Like I said, provide for me REAL facts of why I should place Brett above the Team as a whole. Provide me 1 solid piece of evidence that Brett is SUPER-NATURAL... And then maybe.. Just MAYBE I will lay off him, and believe in him. HE doubted his OWN ABILITY YOU DUNGHEAD! "I don't know if I want the ball with 2 minutes left in the game anymore. I don't know that I can handle it..."

^^^^ WTF does that tell you about your god damn hero, dude?! Does that tell you that he is "IN IT TO WIN" anymore?? NO!! IT TELLS ME THAT HE IS IN IT FOR THE DRAMA, PRESS, MONEY, AND THE ABILITY TO HAVE SOMEONE AT HIS BECK AND CALL AND EVERY WHIM!

Provide me solid proof that Brett is anything but what I have described him as, or please.... Just STFU!

First off, FAVR4PREZ, Stop yelling.. lol

Secondly, I think you are missplacing a few things. There is virtually NO WAY to know what Barry Sanders meant to the Lions, No way to tell what Montana meant to the 49ers, and Elway to Denver, and so on... Not only that, there is no way to judge the amount of heart these players had compared to that of Brett Favre... You can not, or "should" not reach a comaprison with these people, because in their own right, they too were great individuals and great football players and just as exciting to watch as Brett on a good day..

Third, You said that he has an uncanny will to win? Well... let me ask you a few questions then...

Question: If Brett has such an "uncanny" will to win, then why on earth would he openly state that he doesn't know if he want's the ball in the last 2 minutes of a close game?

Question 2: If Brett has such a will to win, then why... why.. when he is just 37 years of age, and still very much alive would he be thinking of retiring? If you'll notice, this is the 3rd season that he has meantioned retirement, which makes it even worse because he was only 34 when talk of retirement rolled in the picture..

Question 3: If Brett is so much better than any Packer that ever lived, then why on earth would he display this amount of inconcideration to his team, his fans, the press, his coaches, agent, and GM?

If you think Brett will go out the same way he came in, then I suggest you "re-think" your thought process, because he CAME IN ON A TRADE FROM ATLANTA YOU DOPE! How can people possibly think that Brett Favre can be above Reggie White, who not only was a minister on the football feild, but a minister in real life.. How could you DARE disrespect Walter Payton (who in my mind was the absolute kindest, caring, and best running back to ever have played the game.. How could you do that? Are you THAT blinded by Bretts raised eye-brows, and kiddish humor that you forget that Brett is just another place and time in history, but he is NOT ABOVE ANY OF THOSE PLAYERS YOU SO BOLDLY STATED ABOVE....

Give up... I win, and you know it..

Point taken Favr4Prez...DC..just needs to stop mouthing off and realize the shaky ground he's on.

I wouldn't find you..but it doesn't take a genius to ping an IP address on HIm and his buddy.

They just need to move on to football.

Let's talk football Favre4Prez! hehe

Thanks Savage...

I was wondering about question #1 too. He said on ESPN that he's lost his nerve. Will his nerve come back when he gets better receivers? Or is it just gone?

#2: Why does he keep flirting w/retiring too. It should just be sudden..instead of back/forth.

Thanks for bringing us back.
