Full story: Orlando Sentinel

CB Scott Starks just laughed. He didn't know how to describe exactly what happened.

Give me a break... We need a story about how Watson might have shoved Starks?'In the locker room afterward, they chalked it up to playing on the road against a No. 1 seed.'

What about the TD that Garrard got when his knee was down? Jax got to the line so fast for the extra point BB couldn't even get the nod from upstairs to throw the red flag. I'd say Jax got the benefit of the doubt with that being called a TD in the first place...

Alan, interesting angle. A little too 'sour grapes' for my taste. How about a story about how Jax was a tough team, but they got out-muscled by an undefeated team that has had to listen to pundits all week say how their line is aging, they are a finesse team, Jax looks like the 2001 Pats, etc?

In the end, the game went way differently than most expected. Taylor and Drew, who most thought would chew up the turf, were limited to 66 yards rushing against aging Vrable and Bruschi. I'm not shocked. Garrard was forced to pass, which most expected to be the neutralizer. But he had great success with 270 yards and several key conversions. So what was the difference? Well, for one, Brady was magnificent, near perfect. The O-line protected him and gave him plenty of time. Maroney ran like a man possessed. Jax took away Moss, but that left Welker with a lot of touches. Turnovers was Jax's biggest woe. Garrard was harassed all night and he did what most QBs do late against the Pats: throw an INT.

So enough complaining about this so-called shove. This game was called cleanly and each team had a call it wishes was different. Jax never had a chance. Thanks for playing.

What a joke? Watson shoved Starks? The only time Jacksonville stopped the Pats was when the refs decided not to call the face mask on Welker, but who's complaining.

Jacksonville is a good team, but at this time would lose to the Pats 19 out of 20.

Maybe next year they can move up a notch.

Talk about crying! The bad calls go both ways, ladies. Bottom line, a classless Jaguar team got exposed.

What about the flag on Harrison (they called it on Samuel) for roughing when clearly the Jag player was still in bounds. Waaaa ! Cry me a river, you're watching history! So next week, after you hicks go frog killing in the local swamp, turn on the TV and watch the perfect season roll on !!

hey what about that comment from the jags defensive guy who said "anyone can go 26-28 in a dump down game." thats pathetic. the jags didnt do what they had to do. last i checked the idea is to hit the open guy wherever he is. preferably you try the longer pass first but if its not open you check down. so he is pissy because their defense sat 8 guys back 50 yards and left the entire middle wide open all night in fear of being beat deep? its pick your poison playing the pats. take the long ball and brady will kill you underneath. stay up by the line and he will kill you deep. its rather unfair but it comes from good drafting, trading and coaching. but to say anyone can do what brady did is absurd. if that were the case more underrated qbs would have 90% completion rates.

very well said. you are right about that first touchdown by the jags but in the end they were still down by two scores with less than 5 minutes to go and did what most teams do, they rushed it and created a turnover. this article is stupid but like moss said, when people lose they tend to say things that are inappropriate.

i never saw him play any games when he was in oakland and i dont even think the local media aired the games since they were so bad but probably. hey guys are competitive and it hurts to lose so sometimes things get said that are a little out of line. its not really a big deal, just like this stupid article claiming the game hinged on that one play. if the game was tied and watson scored the winning touchdown with 3 seconds left then i could entertain the thought of it being a big deal but it wasnt so it is a non issue. one would think reporters would find something better to write about.

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Leo

Tread carefully if you're involved in a property deal or home improvement plan today, because someone might try to pull the wool over your eyes. They might forget to give you some vital pieces of information, or give you the soft soap treatment in the hope that you won't ask awkward questions. You're very trusting right now, but don't let that make you gullible.
