It's good to see the Saints making moves in free agency, but picking uo guys who have been hurt does'nt make sense. Yes we got Drew coming of an injury, but what are the chances these guys will be able to perform at 100%. They get paid the big bucks to make choices. We as fans can only hope they are the right ones.

Hey Hellacool what do you mean by that response? Do you think Bush can be an every down running back in the NFL? And what have you seen in the past few years that makes you think that? Deuce's career is coming to an end and Bush is clearly not the answer. As for the crack. either you don't know football or your the one on crack.

Its great the Saints are trying to rebuild the defense, but we shouldn't get all excited about the season. Until the Saints address their secondary needs, we will be the same old team. Jason David so far has been a failed experment, McKenzie wont be back for a while and we have Gay. We need to trade Duece for either sheppard or hall, and hopefully get a draft pick also for him.

Somebody in the league would trade us for duece. Not a first round of course but we could get some market value out of him and what would be wrong with getting a sec or third for him and trading that away to go up this happens all the time and hall talks to much and he is not even close to deion sanders coverage ability.Gay is an improvement but i'm still not sold on the defense until we get some play makers on the front seven .

The signing of Morgan is great... paired with Vilma it could turn into something great...why not go for it with the 1 year contract...nothing to lose at the position. As for all the talk of trading Deuce... I don't think that's warranted. Yes he may be getting slower and older, and yes Reggie is probably not an every down back. However, if you can use them together as theyd did 2 years ago... pound with Duece first, to setup the dynamic surprise running of Reggie, I don't see why that can't work again. 2 years ago, Reggie was used alot as a receiver... in the slot or in motion... he can't be the every down back, if you use him that way, he doesn't have the element of surprise and isn't much of a threat as we saw this past year. You've got to set it up with Deuce first. All the trick plays 2 years ago worked because we first pounded with Deuce, then came the flare and surprise with Reggie or the flea flickers etc. That didn't work last year because we weren't starting with Deuce. The offense becomes predictable without Deuce... that's all I'm saying. I agree we need more CB and DT help, but I don't think trading Deuce is the way to get it. Getting back to the point, I think Dan Morgan is a good pickup... at least a small gamble that could be a good one, and not much of a loss if it doesn't pan out.
oh yea... and GO SAINTS !
