Poor millionaires, having to budget when times are tight, but they have brought this upon themselves. The deal here is they have forgotten who the workers are and who the employer is. They get paid well for what they do. I can ill afford an 85K Mercedes much less a 250K Mercedes. The player never shelled a single red cent to purchase a team but now they want half of what the owners make? And what is troubling here is that they knew what the deal was when they accepted their contracts. This is like a cop going on strike because his wage is too low, but he knew what his wages would be when he became a cop. These NFL players need to stop letting the UNION make decisions for them. THE UNION DOES NOT RUN TEAM, MANAGEMENT RUNS THE TEAM. And if you donât like that take your game across the street, in this case across the border to Canada. But donât muck it up for fans. You get no sympathy from me. You need to honor your contract, you know what you were getting into, and after all you are college graduates. Be responsible. AND if you feel you are not being treated fairly find another trade that you good at and have at it.
