One thing for sure, even though two of the U's first round picks were Juniors, there departure will not have a large impact on the team. If we are to judge 1st round NFL talent by their positon in the draft and their 2006 performance, then the U has replacements that will be just as productive in their vacant positions, and possible first round talent in the future.
RS should be feeling good about his talent on the 2007 team.

with the exception of randy shannon and one or two others, think how many more would have been drafted had there been some real coaching.

Moss will catch somewhere he is a natural RB and I am very surprised that he did not get drafted, but I was also surprised that Walker from ND did not get drafted either. I wish the Fins would have picked up K Brown who I believe is more talented than the DT they drafted.

Boom and then bust. Three firsts, two fouths and then bust. Only one offensive player chosen. Now we know why the offense was terrible and the defense was pretty good.

Thug U, NOT. It's called NFL U. Even after a year of turmoil, we still load up the pro's with great players. NO ONE is even close to how first rounders we put in the NFL. Congrats Canes, and to guys who didn't get in the first round, show it on the field boys, show it on the field. Next year should be even better.

Please explain your logic. Just as talented at those positions? Wow! Another 6-6 season?
