Michael Vick's first start in four years was merely a cameo. The New York Jets beat Philadelphia 21-17 in their preseason finale Thursday night, while Vick led the Eagles to a field goal in two series and Kurt Coleman scored on two fumble returns.

Vick needs to play steady or he is mediocre just like Andy Reed. Kolb is a poor choice because he is too short and scrawny to play in NFL One good hit by a 300 lb rushing lineman could sideline Kolb for entire season or worse. Both Cunningham and McNabb never were the same after their injuries. Offensive line for this season is a big disappointment . Poor planning by the eagles organization as usual. Dont go to any home games. Save your hard earned $$$$

Right on money I agree Kolb will have a lot of passes blocked by tall defensive front liners. Kolb will only be as good as his protection is. There will be player disatisfaction with management this season due to offseason mistakes they made by rushing into their decisions on player personnel. 6 and 10 for season.

Right, Kolb is a regular midget:
Height: 6-3 Weight: 218
and the dog killer, vick, is so much bigger:
Height: 6-0 Weight: 215
If vick plays any more regularly than he does now, his mediocrity will just become more routine. vick is a failed experiment at putting a running back behind an NFL center......and it has proven itself to fail miserably. That's why they only use the felon for wildcat plays when chances are, he's going to RUN.

Kolb is bigger than Vick, and even McNabb for that matter. And perhaps you've never heard of another QB that was shorter and lighter than Kolb, by the name of Steve Young. I think he did okay in the NFL if I remember correctly. Didn't he win 3 Bowls, and retired with a few NFL records ?

What are you talking about? Kolb is 6'3" 215lbs. Thats about average size for a QB. Look at Drew Brees who is only 6'0" 205 lbs. Cunningham and McNabb were also scrambling QBs. Kolb is a pure pocket passer so your comparison is way off base.
