What a tragedy! Sean had a great and enjoyable future ahead of him which was cut short. God knows all and He will give him perfect peace and enjoyment in Heaven. The Lord will bring his killer to justice.

May the good Lord grant his family comfort. His daughter will grow in grace.

My sympathy to Sean's personal family and the Redskins family.

Love and Blessings to everyone.

look, i can't say i agree with everything mr brooks says, but under the harsh comments, he does make a point. i can see what he's saying, sean taylor was a privileged kid who was able to make lots of money playing football, he didn't perform heart surgery or arrest a child molester, and what sean taylor did really wasn't that dangerous and he didn't put his life on the line each day when he went to work. having said that, i see mr brooks point when he calls us out on all this "praying" and stuff, i read a lot of comments and these people act as if they knew his personally and had dinner with him every night. i can guarantee you that sean taylor could care less about who wore his jersey because he went home to a nice house with lots of money and fancy cars. he couldn't see past that and who the faces of the people are who bought the football tickets. basically, you people are the hands that fed him, and he never really cared so long as he was getting his fat paycheck. i'm sorry he's dead and all, but that's it. he wasn't a hometown hero or anything, and he didn't save anyones lives. he lived a thug's life and enjoyed it up until the day he died. so i can't really feel sorry for him, and i think alot of people need to stop and think about who you think you're praying for.

Wow, Mr. Brooks. You sure instilled the fear of God in me, sure thing. Knocking down and bullying a full fledged school-attending person who had a his hero die and you did it like a man - anonymously on a forum meant to show respect to someone who died! Yeap, sure made me realize the true measure of a man, a real man. Marcus is more of a man than you could ever hope to be in this life time or the next Mr. B.

Sean Taylor seemed to be getting his life together for what its worth and he was a human being who worked and played with his friends and family and he as a person impacted people whether you approve of him of not. If Sean Taylor was a worthless thug and could not get out of himself, he would never still be on the Redskins team. DC has been a home town for me for a long time Sir adn the only thing I know for sure about the Redskins team is that Joe Gibbs and the other coaches make real men out of the athletes they get. And Sean Taylor would never have posted a note like that one you posted to a student in an online forum on the death of a kid's hero.

Football heroes are not perfect and may have a few bad spots here and there, but they are football heroes, not God, and God loves them and so do we, the fans.

Hopefully this area can go back to the posting it was meant for, comment on Sean's death and support and prayers for his friends and family.

First of all SLIM SHADY and MR.BROOKS....
SLIM SHADY what kind of name is that anyway? Seems like you are bittin off someone else's style too huh? Another Hater.......
First of all I am a mother of 3 boys. One of which plays football and Sean Taylor was THE BEST player ever and my son looked up to him. Despite how you feel if he was so much of a "THUG" then why didn't he have a gun in his house? Why was he the one getting shot?
And can you even define you meaning of what a "THUG" really is?
He might of made some wrong choices in his life but that was when he was younger, and that is not for you to judge its up to the lord. Believe me Sean is now in heaven and you need to worry about where you may end up in eternity, Thou shall not judge..........
Before you start typing you need to think first.
IGNORANCE is what got him killed and reading your comment you are too so I guess you can relate to "THUGS"..........
Oh and by the way, Sean's house in FL. wasn't all that nice. I don't see where he was flashin around anything. He may of had a nice vehicle but I am sorry that you probably are not able to afford something that nice, but don't hate on him.
And yes he did risk is life stepping onto that field every week. You never know in football what may happen. Neck injury, Head injury, Spinal injury etc. You were probably a wanna a be and never got there.
But I hope that one day you find the Lord and may he lead you to peace. I'll pray for you......

Brooks -- you are a clown!!!!

Ms. Kim the best way you can idiolize Sean Taylor is to make sure you train your boys up in the way they should go, and that is not to hang in the streets, causing mischief for themselves and others, teach them respect for their elders and most of all keep them in the church. If you are a single parents, look to your pastor and your neighbors for help. Teach them to finish their education, get married and then have babies, and not to get caught up in other people's battles, any other way is not going to work. Teach them to forgive others while they are forgiving themselves.

Brooks go to sleep.

Brooks, you're still a clown.

"if you're trying to disgusted, you spelled it wrong!"

You've got your nerve to talk about somebody spelling something wrong, when you need correct English with your ebonics talking self. You at least need to learn to come correct before you attempt to correct somebody else. Remember apples don't fall far from the tree, and besides the Bible says "train up a child in the way he should go ..." and if you read the Bible for a while, maybe you would have some compassion for others when you get on this website with your "holier than thou attitude". I didn't say train them (as if they were monkeys) but the Lord said it and if he said it, it is good enough for me. Ms. Kim could do one better to train her boys NOT to be like you also.

they sealed his locker with plexiglass so noone steal his stuff....all you people that are immortalizing this freak are out of your minds! He's just ONE football player out of many, and ONE thug less causing panic. Can someone PLEASE tell me what this punk did to make this society better, other than run balls back....you people are pathetic. He's no more of a hero than the thug who waived a gun at the 7-11 clerk, only he got to wear a uniform and make millions.
Mr Brooks, could you close you mouth...there is a stinch in the air.

Thank you and Have A Nice Day!
